Tʜᴇ Bʟᴀᴄᴋ Pʀɪɴᴄᴇ (ʙᴛs 𝑓𝑓)

CHAPTER 1

SAINT PILLARS

           Walking barefoot through the miles I found myself lost in the mist that was all around, wearing white tunic that was covering my body and silver brooches securing the whole, my eyes narrowed at the pillars that was sneaking through the clouds and later the mist cleared their path and then came in the view of a pillars.

I glanced around at my surrounding as the mist cleared entirely, founding myself in the center of a grand hall decorated with enormous designs made out of delicacy as those huge saint pillars were holding the ceiling that was in a dome like structure, I remember seeing this hall as if I have been here for so long.

"V!" Said some voice that reached my ear and echoed throughout the hall, my ears followed the path of the sound with a frown, they very next moment my head snapped on the hand came from behind was now kept on my right shoulder as the name was called out once more, I turned around.

"V...take this with you." Said a man wearing all white with a cloak, his sharp and beautiful features haggard in worry, and his height reaching same as mine, he is holding a staff in his one hand while the other hand is holding a stone like substance.

I held the stone from his hands and a flower like symbol on the ground which once was silver is now gleaming and blue flames flashing out of it and gradually ascending higher but no heat could be felt.

I stared at the astonishing blue flames without blinking an eye but right the next moment I got startled with the noise coming from behind; I turned around quickly and saw several guards advancing towards my direction with rage.

"Prince they are here...you need to hurry!" Says a man who's standing right beside me wearing heavy metallic shield, his features are so similar with my own, his hands gesturing me towards the fire.

"Go! This is the only chance." Said the man in the state of panic, I could feel my heart pounding wildly as the sounds of footsteps were coming closer.

I jumped into the flames. Blue flames engulfed me consuming every bit and pieces of me slowly; it isn't burning my skin all I feel is numbness.

I glanced up at the dome which is getting blur with each blink of my eyes, my body began losing its gravity as it ascends in the air synchronizing with the flames, It feels like I am floating in the air where the sun is right in front of my eyes becoming bigger and brighter, my eyes began shutting and darkness engulfed me as I could hear different voices repeating in my head.

"You cannot let them do this!"

"They will ruin the whole kingdom!"

"Only you can save us, Prince!"

"Prince?!"

"PRINCE!!!!!"

"TAEHYUNG! ...Wake up, WAKE UP!"

I fluttered my eyes open and set up straight on the bed, I glanced around the surrounding as I found myself in my very own room, letting out a heave of sigh at the realization that it was just another dream.

"Hurry up, you are getting late for school, Taehyung." Mom said. I rubbed my weary eyes with the back of my hands clearing away the blurry vision, as soon as my eyes drifted on the clock which says 7:30 am and school starts in about half an hour with that realized I tossed away the bed sheet and stood up from bed.

I hurriedly went to the bathroom and turned on the shower, I stepped out of the bathroom taking a quick shower, the drops of water splashing on the tiles as I was still soaked in water, with the help of a towel I wiped away the water quickly from my body and I wore my school uniform and ran downstairs nearly slipping on the wet tiles with my bag. My dad was sitting on a dining chair with newspaper in his hands calming taking the sips of his coffee from the coffee mug.
