DARK FIGURES
After those dark figures burst into dark mist and turned down, I still stood rooted to the ground letting out a deep breath with trembling legs in the middle of the pool of coal tar, still trying to comprehend what just happened.
I couldn't believe that those dark scaly things were after me.
Jungkook came rushing to me and approached me with a face haggard with worry and scrutinize me for any sort of injury, "Are you okay? Did you get hurt?"
"I am okay, Jungkook! Don't worry." I said as I tried to get my breathing to normal by taking large intake of breaths, my heart still pounding loudly.
"Are you sure?" Jungkook said as he held my waist and tried to keep me compose, my hands shaking and I gave him a slight nod, "Got any idea what those things were here for?"
I shook my head, "I don't know, Jungkook but they were saying that they need to take me to their master."
"Master?!" Jungkook said with his eyebrows furrowed, "Do you think it must be Yoongi?"
"Can be..." Jungkook nodded.
"What were those things though?" I asked frowning in confusion.
"I don't really know, Taehyung. I never came across such thing before." Jungkook replied.
"They are called 'the darklings,' they live in the dark and can control the darkness and shadows according to their wishes." Said one of the men wearing a silver cloak whom Jungkook brought along with him.
"Who are you?" I asked instead as my eyes drifted to that person with silver cloak.
"I am Professor Gong Yoo." He said and then gestured his hands towards other man wearing a karate-gi, "And this is Professor Lee Dong-Wook."
My eyes narrowed at them.
"We are here to take you with us to the Fanmore Academy of Magic and Sword as we came to know that you are having troubles with your powers." Said the person named Dong-Wook.
"Fanmore Academy! What is this 'Harry Potter,' you can't be serious now, Jungkook!" I glanced at Jungkook beside me after listening to those professors with a frown. "I told you this before that I am not going to any of those magic schools and yet you went there to enroll me in."
"Come on, Tae! We tried everything to get your powers in control, if this is how it goes for long then even Feriona won't allow us to stay there any longer!" Jungkook began with restlessness, "Plus right now those things tried to abduct you and I am damn sure that those dark things-darklings were sent by my brother and I don't know when he is going stop!"
"So, please listen to me for once and go there. Trust me they can help you with this, Taehyung." I sighed and closed my eyes and fluttered them open as an idea popped up in my mind.
"Fine! I'll go there..." I agreed with him on going to that magic academy but added, "But on one condition."
Jungkook's head titled with a frown, "And this is...?"
"You will be coming with me." I said with an evil smirk.
"What the fuck! What am I going to do there?"
"Well didn't you hear they said Fanmore Academy of Magic and "Sword" you can enroll yourself in there." I said with a glint, if I am going down then I am gonna take you down with me.
"Right, you can come too." Gong Yoo said as he agreed with my words.
"I-I don't think that's a good idea... besides I am dealing with this ongoing divorce thing!" Jungkook stuttered and stepped back.
"You and I both know that that Lisa ain't going to let you get rid of this marriage thing so easily and so it's going to take a lot of time, and I am not going there alone, so you better come with me or I am not going at all."
"Gosh fine! I'll go with you." Jungkook said in defeat and shook his head, "You always convince me to do things according to your terms and conditions!"
"Yep" I said popping the 'p' while grinning from ear to ear at Jungkook.
"Very well, so it's decided you both are coming to the Academy." Said Gong Yoo as he brought out emerald shaped pendant out of his cloak and flicked it open and it flashed out a bright light with that a huge shadow surrounded us from top and my head titled upwards and blood drained from my face as my eyes widened and mouth fell to the floor.
A huge dragon with scaly dark brown skin showed up flapping his large wings with so much force that the trees around are on the verge of falling down, the dragon settled down on the ground and sniffed loudly, long leather reins are attached on its ends.
"We-we are going on that thing?" I swallowed the lump formed in my throat.
"Yes, Hope up you both the Academy is far from here to the different continent from here, will take long to reach there." Said Dong-Wook as he climbed on top of the dragon and as Gong Yoo held the leather reins and climbed as well.
Jungkook without a care in the world climbed the dragon too and brought his hands towards me to hold, "Come on Tae, it isn't a big deal."
"A big deal!" I snorted, with wobbly legs I walked closed to the dragon as he followed my every movement with its orange-yellow eyes and I took a deep breath and held Jungkook's hand as he pulled me up.
Gong Yoo pulled the reins attached on the dragon with that the dragon flapped his wings with force and we ascended upwards, the ground going further down as we lifting upwards, I held the dragon scales tightly as my height phobia strike in. I saw my vision getting blur and after I while darkness filled my eyes as it fell shut.
...
I felt my ground moving and fluttered my eyes open as a voice whispered into my earlobes, "Tae...open your eyes!"
I found myself in Jungkook's arms with my back on his chest, he is holding my waist securely with my head on his shoulder. I glanced around at my surrounding we were in the middle of clouds; we were still on dragon travelling to the academy. The professors were sitting by the head of the dragon controlling it by pulling its rein and Jungkook and I sitting by the dragon's tale.
"Tae, give me your hand." Jungkook held my shaking hand and lifted it in air, the back of my hand were in his front and I felt like some smoke touching the skin of my hands, The oxygen at this level was less which is making it hard to breathe properly, I exhaled the breath that I was holding onto for long and giggled, Jungkook chuckled and gave me a peck on my temples, "Gosh, I missed this."
I tilted my head back onto his shoulder, the back side of my head in the crook of his neck, exhaled and fluttered my eyes shut again.
After a while we reached the destination as the dragon settled on the ground and we hopped down, after settling us all down the dragon groaned and flew away as we stood in front of the Fonmore Academy of Magic and Sword.
