Twisted Metal: The Revenge (Book 01).

Prologue B: Birth Of Slash Kane.

Needles wasn't the only one murdering people on the street. At a young age, Charlie followed in his father's footsteps, by collecting throwing knives at a local pawn shop, and trained himself in knife throwing at age 13.

However Charlie didn't stop there. Next as he kept aging at the orphanage, Charlie started using a shotgun to cook squirrels, and raccoons who arrive near the orphanage. The downside is, that the den mother working at the orphanage was completely abusive towards him, and the other orphans he sleeps with, so Charlie did what his father would do.

When Charlie turned 15, he tied the abusive den mother to a chair, and then sliced open her chest open with the knife he used to kill the birds from outside. As the den mother died, Charlie ran away from the orphanage he was in, and started raising himself with no school, and no parents. With that, Charlie decided to get himself a place to hide, a disguise of his own, and as many weapons he can afford, with the weapons he could steal, along with the money.

The years go by, and Charlie grew with murderous intention by his side. For his persona, Charlie returned to the old house, and found a blue, and black jacket to go with black pants, and long black boots to go with his sinister paper bag mask. The hideout he chose for his gang to live in, was an abandoned amusement park, near the Santa Monica boardwalk. (I'm just making Ester eggs from previous Twisted Metal games. The black, and blue jacket is actually from Twisted Metal: Small Brawl.)

In this abandoned amusement park, there were no rules, and it was off limits to police officers, because they were busy with something Charlie has heard about. There was a company in charge of all the criminals in Los Angeles, called Calypso Industries. The owner named Calypso was in charge of a tournament he called Twisted Metal. Charlie, while watching the tournament found something that surprised him, and discovered that his father Needles was entered in the tournament, and has been watching every yearly event. Charlie figured, that his father might still be hunting for his sister Sophie Kane.

Hoping to prove his father's worth, Charlie sets out on a quest to help him hunt down his sister, but had back luck with it. When Charlie turned 18, he tracked down his father's scent through the hospital, and realized he has been here due to all of the dead bodies on the ground. A ton of doctors, nurses, and patients have been slaughtered due to the arrival of Needles himself. By the time Charlie arrived at his sisters hospital room, he found that his father wasn't there, or his sister. What he did see was the corpse of a nurse, who had a name sign stabbed through his eye. That sign was labeled "Kane", as it was the families last name. So, Charlie left the hospital, and continued his hunt for his sister, while assisting the psychotic clown who was his father.
