Slash parked the Sweet Tooth in front of the abandoned warehouse that was known as Calypso's Self Storage, and placed the vehicle in park, then got out. Slash even chained the truck, so he wouldn't lose it.

The preacher got out after Slash, once he finished his soda, and chips. "So what do you need me to do again?" Slash asked. "Well, there is a laboratory in this warehouse," the preacher answered. "It has a time machine that I need you to get." "Uh-huh," Slash commented. "And what exactly do we need a time machine for?"

"I'll explain after we get it," the preacher answered. "By now, the place is heavily guarded, so my advice would be to murder your way to the laboratory to get it." "Good enough for me," Slash said, and gave his father's machete to the preacher. "Oh, no thank you," the preacher explained. "I'm a man of the lord, which means I only punish those with death, unless they've done something wrong in their lives." (Just like in Twisted Metal: Black. How could I forget that.)

"Old man, you know that you won't last a second in there, unless you fight back, you're not going to make it past the early bird special," Slash said. "I'm not going in there," the preacher explained. "I'm staying out here, while you do all the word, so those guards won't know I escaped from the Asylum of Naysayers that you rescued me from. You're harboring a fugitive in your own truck, and Calypso won't stop until he has me back." "I thought you were a preacher, not a coward," Slash commented.

The preacher than looked down at the blade he was offered, and shrug. "Alright, Mr. Kane," the preacher said. "Have it your way. It'll make no difference even if I lose my mind once I've given those guards the finishing blow." With that, Slash and the preacher walked up to the front door of the warehouse, and found that it was locked as one of them turned the knob. Slash had the solution, by using his chainsaw to slice the door in half, and kicked both parts on the floor. "If the machete's not enough, you can have a rifle from one of the guards I kill," Slash explained, as he lead the preacher into the warehouse with the weapons.

There idea was to use stealth, as they check about every room that has employees in them, and killed them. To the two's luck, none of them bothered to press an alarm to call for security in tracking the them down, so they search for the time machine quietly. Unfortunately, all that was in the laboratory were a bunch of microscopes, test beacons, and filled bottles to do experiments on. "All that's in here is a bunch of experimental sh*t," Slash said. "We must be in the wrong warehouse." "This is the right warehouse, actually," the preacher explained. "We're just not in the right laboratory." "There are more labs in this place?" Slash asked. "Five more, I'm afraid," the preacher answered. "The time machine should be in one of these, if we find it."
