Twisted Metal: The Revenge (Book 01).

Chapter 01: Inside An Odd Ice Cream Truck.

As Slash was driving the Sweet Tooth, he decided to check out what his father Needles installed. Just then, Slash discovered a control panel next to the steering wheel. Must have been what Needles used in the contest.

Slash parked the Sweet Tooth near the abandoned junkyard he trained his gang in, to see what the truck was capable of. The control panel had 5 buttons on it with 5 different colors and pictures. The blue button for the ice cream, the orange button for the deep fryer, and the last three buttons on the panel were for defense.

The purple button launches the rockets, the green button fires the machine guns, and the pink button launches the clown head that Slash's father made to look just like his clown mask. Instead of a happy clown with a birthday cone hat, the clown had an evil smile with flaming hair just like Slash, and Needles have. However there was one last button in the car, that wasn't on the control panel, but on the steering wheel and was red. Knowing Slash, he knew what it did.

The red button on the steering wheel was obviously what Needles used to activate the Sweet-Bot, and figured it would come in handy. After checking out what the buttons on the steering wheel, and control panel, Slash went to the back of the truck, and found the kitchen of the Sweet Tooth. The side window to where ice cream trucks show themselves to the children was blocked, but there was a freezer on the bottom of the window that revealed a ton of flavors of ice cream, and a bag of fries.

(You're probably wondering why I'm bringing up what's in the truck. We've seen the Sweet Tooth go through a ton of changes throughout the years of it's timeline, but we never got a look at the interior, aside from the driver seat.) All of a sudden, the deep fryer, ice fridge, and blocked window weren't the only things in the truck. As Slash looked down, he found a small cellar with a note attached to it, along with the key to the cellar. As Slash took a look at the penmanship of the note, he saw that it was from his father. Slash decided to read it, since he won't be going anywhere yet, and sat down near the cellar.

"Dear Charlie, if that's what you call yourself still," the note read. "I know you're still alive, and if you find this note in the ice cream truck, there's a small task I want you to do. I was entered in a contest called Twisted Metal, and the host Calypso had what I needed. If I fail, and end up in a situation that might kill me, I want you to retrieve my blade from Calypso if he takes it from me. What's in the cellar the note is attached to will help you. It might not be as strong as my blade, but it's just as powerful. Take Care, your father Needles Kane." Slash unlocked the cellar, and found a massive chainsaw with a yellow handle that was covered in blood. With the chainsaw, Slash took his fathers wish to heart, and went on a hunt to find Calypso, and get the blade back.
