Back in the asylum, Slash, and the others take the zip-line all the way into the skull, as they found more cells filled with screaming people in straight jackets. They wouldn't stop screaming, due to them being captive.
"Orbital, do you see the number we're suppose to find?" Slash asked, as Orbital checked with his cyborg eye. "Negative, sir," Orbital answered. "None of these doors have the cell number the preacher is being kept in. We'll have to keep searching." "No matter what it takes, we have to get that preacher," Slash explained. "I want Calypso dead."
"You know, it's kind of nice that we're the only one's in this box," Raven commented. "You, me, together, alone." "We're in the middle of a mission, Raven," Orbital said. "This is no time for f**king." "Okay, I see that this cell is heading near a wall that has more cell's," Slash explained. "Use your eye to locate the exact number." "I'll try my best," Orbital said, and switched his eye to X-ray mode which allowed him to see through the cells, and walls of the asylum they were in.
As Orbital, looked through the cells, he heard someone yell "You are a beast" at the top of his, or her longs, and looked down at the bottom of the cell he, and Raven were in. That was coming from an old man in a straight jacket, in one of the cells, as he was also wearing red sunglasses. "I think I see the preacher," Orbital said. "Where?" Slash asked. "Two cell's down," Orbital answered. "You'll find the number on his cell door." "If this isn't a trick, you just bought yourself survival," Slash said.
"Boss, how are you going to get down there?" Raven asked. "There's no ladder, or stairs." "I hang on to the handles of the doors, of course," Slash answered, and jumped of the cell he was on, as he landed near cell number "412". Then Slash dropped to each cell down, until he reached "612". Slash pulled out his keys once he was at the right cell, and opened the door, while letting himself in. "Who are you?" the preacher asked. "Did Calypso sent you?" "Actually, I sent myself," Slash answered. "If I was to take orders from the dude that killed my father, I would end him first." "My gracious boy," the preacher said. "Why is your head on fire?"
"It ended up this way when I placed on my father's mask," Slash explained. "Well it looks like the devil himself cursed you," the preacher said. "No one could look like that." (I know what you all are thinking, and yes I know the preacher is actually the one who set Needles's head on fire, but this is from 2012, not Black.) "If I had a nickel for every time I heard those words," Slash commented. "Well if you're not sent by Calypso to kill me, why are you here?" the preacher asked. "To bust you out," Slash answered. "We found a radio, and heard your conversation with a radio station host. If you're right about Calypso being a monster, I'm here to help you in erasing him from existing. But first, we need to get you out of here, and fast."
