Twisted Metal: The Revenge (Book 01).

Chapter 06: Scaling Calypso's Tower.

Slash arrived outside of the Calypso Industries tower where he found the Sweet Tooth truck, and was waiting for his gang to show up. While he was waiting, Slash had himself an ice cream cone from the truck freezer storage.

(If you're wondering why I'm writing this scene, and not Calypso at the graveyard, is because Twisted Metal 2012 explains what he's doing there. If you don't get it, here's a clip above the chapter.) Finally, a circus tent, attached to a bus parked next to the Sweet Tooth, and on the side of it, the bus read "Hell's Circus".

Inside the bus were all 4 members of Slash's gang, as they got off the bus. These three were a guy with half of the skin on his face removed, a brown haired guy with a smiley face on his shirt, a green haired girl with flowers on her leotard, and a goth girl in a black dress with matching hair. These members were Orbital, Amber Rose, Club Kid, and Raven. Together with Slash Kane, they are known as Hell's Circus. The most sinister gang that always escapes the police.

(In case you didn't know, all of them are from different games. Amber Rose, and Club Kid are from Twisted Metal 3, Orbital is from Twisted Metal 4, and Raven is from Twisted Metal Black. Those three weren't in Twisted Metal 2012, so this is the part where they come back in.) The gang recognized Slash as he was standing there in front of his father's ice cream truck. "Charlie, is that you?" Raven asked. "It's Slash now," Slash answered. "But that's not important, now that we're all here."

"Well whoever you are, what is this about?" Orbital asked. "You gathered us in front of Calypso's building, where the guards will surely come to capture us." "I just discovered that my father died," Slash answered. "Calypso is responsible for it. So, we're going on up there, and doing it." "How are we going to do that?" Amber asked. "The tower is 10 stories tall, and we're all the way down here. They'll expect us if we go inside that way." "We're not using the front door," Slash answered, and gave both Orbital, and Club Kid grappling hook guns, while he had one himself. "We're using the window, as a secret entrance."

"Right on, boss," Kid commented. "Are you sure these grappling hooks we'll be able to hold us, when we get all the way up there?" Amber asked. "Yeah, where did you even get these?" Raven agreed. "Stole them from a hardware store on the way here," Slash answered. "I'm guessing that's where you also got the chainsaw," Orbital commented. "Nope, that was from a secret storage in my father's truck," Slash explained. "Speaking of which, if we succeed ice cream for everyone." "So this is the famous ice cream truck your old man drove?" Kid asked. "Looks just like the mask you're wearing." "Shut up, and shoot your rope," Slash answered, as he pointed his grappling hook up to the sky, while Orbital did the same thing with his own grappling hook.
