Twisted Metal: The Revenge (Book 01).

Chapter 07: Calypso's Office.

Slash, and his gang started scaling the tower, as they were climbing the grappling hooks on the way to Calypso's office at the top floor. While on the way Club Kid, and Amber kept asking obnoxious questions.

"So how did your head catch on fire like that?" Kid asked, starting it. "It happened when I placed on my dad's mask," Slash answered. "And how come you're still alive with your head on fire?" Amber asked. "I have no f**king idea," Slash answered. "And where did you get the chainsaw on your back?" Kid asked. "In my dad's truck," Slash answered.

"And how did you find the truck?" Amber asked. "OKAY," Slash shouted. "My nerve is getting smaller, and smaller every time you two open your mouths. So either shut the f*** up, or expect getting one of my throwing knives shoved in your face." With that, both Club Kid, and Amber kept their mouth closed, as they and rest of the group reach the top of the tower. "Hey boss," Raven said. "I think I see the window to Calypso's Office, and damn it looks like a piece of sh*t."

Slash, Amber, Club Kid, and Orbital followed Raven up to where she found the window, and saw that they were at Calypso's office. Slash pulled out a glass cutter, as he got near the window. "Just so you know, I also stole this at the hardware store," Slash explained, as he used the glass cutter to create a massive hole in the window, as the rectangle piece fell to the ground, and shattered into pieces. The gang entered the office, once the hole was made, and found that it was completely unguarded.

"So this is Calypso's office," Orbital said. "Well I have to admit," Kid agreed. "Raven was right about it looking like sh*t." "What are we even doing here, Slash?" Raven asked. "I'll answer with this evidence," Slash answers, and played the C-Pod in his hands, and found that it could also be played without the earphones. Slash played the radio recordings of the interview with the preacher, and the radio host saying the possibility of there being any protestors against Calypso. "Twisted Metal, it just ain't real," the radio announced, as Slash stopped the message, and placed the C-Pod back up after showing his gang the message.

"Apparently this preacher came here to try, and off Calypso," Slash explained. "I think if we find him, we might be able to take him down." "Well where could he be?" Raven asked. Just as the group started searching, Orbital heard screaming, while also coming across the painting of the Asylum Of Naysayers. "Hey guys, can a painting scream at different vocal tones?" Orbital asked. "That's an odd question," Kid answered. "Why do you-" "Listen to this," Orbital explained, and placed Club Kid's face up against the painting. Club Kid heard the screams, and was amazed. "A painting that can scream," Kid commented. "I've seen everything." Orbital let's go of Club Kid, as Raven, Amber, and Slash met up with the two who just found out about the screaming painting.
