Chapter 05: Grimm Inmates.

Meanwhile at the Alcatraz Maximum Security Prison, Agent Shephard, and Officer Jamie Roberts arrived at the front gate of the place, after the Crimson Fury parked the Outlaw outside of the building once it got on land.

At the gate of Alcatraz was a teenage security guard with long hair, wearing a uniform, and sleeping. Officer Roberts went up to the night guard at his post, to wake him up. "Excuse me," Jamie said, which caused the security guard to wake up, and panic while juggling his own flashlight, and at the same time rubbing his eyes.

"What time is it?" the guard asked. "It's 2:30 P.M in the afternoon, mate," Shephard answered. "When was the last time you slept?" "I haven't slept at all, actually," the guard explained. "With the Twisted Metal contest Calypso's been setting up, I've been having a hard time to keep an eye on all the prisoners here. I can't be too careful, when someone begins to break out of this place. It's like a mad house." "If I had a quarter for every time I heard that," Jamie commented.

"Hang on a minute," Shephard said. "Mike?" "Present," the guard explained. "You know this guy?" Jamie asked. "This is Catfish Mike," Shephard answered. "He drove the Hammerhead truck back in the Twisted Metal rounds." (Well in truth, there were a ton of drivers for the Hammerhead. I couldn't decide which one to choose, so I combined the name from the first Twisted Metal, with the name from Twisted Metal: Head-On.) "Nice to meet someone who remembers," Mike said.

"Wait, you weren't in the truck for a long time," Shephard said. "What happened?" "Well Calypso said that the Grimm Brothers who were a part of Mr. Grimm's gang needed them for a boss round," Mike explained. "I miss that beast." "Oh speaking of Mr. Grimm, that's actually why we're here," Jamie said. "He went missing after winning a competition in Twisted Metal. Not sure what wish he got from Calypso, but we need info." "We're wondering if one of the members of Mr. Grimm's gang might be here," Shephard explained. "Do you know anyone like that." "I know one," Mike said. "Hang on, I'll lead you to him."

Catfish Mike unlocked the doors to Alcatraz, and as he lead them in, he closed, and relocked the doors from the inside. As the three were now inside, Catfish Mike lead them to the cell where one of the gang members that use to work for Mr. Grimm were being kept at. All the cells had a bunch of people looking at the guard, Agent Shephard, and Officer Roberts as they were going down the hallways. Just then, Catfish Mike passed out on the floor, once the three made it half way across the hall. "Do we really need his help in finding this gang member?" Jamie asked. "He might be a young, and tired security guard, but he was still a competitor in Twisted Metal," Shephard answered, and picked him up. "We'll have to take him with us, and find the guy ourselves."
