After a month... Paris France...

"Look mommy! I look like a princess!" Raelynn says and looks at her white dress and does a pirouette.

"You really look like a princess," says her mother who holds Bryce in her arms who starts fussing and she tries to calm him down.

"Laura and Megan also have beautiful dresses," says Raelynn cheerfully.

"I'm sure my dear. You will be the cutest flower girls."

Asher also appears dressed in a tuxedo and says outraged:

"I want to throw flower petals too!"

"Only the girls do that," Raelynn sticks her tongue at her brother.

"Oh, not again..." Evie sighs. Her children start this conflict after she strongly believed that today everything will be ok. "Kids. Stop! Asher. Heather asked you to be the boy with the rings. This is also a very important job."

"Okay," Asher says grimly. "I'm just doing this so as not to upset Aunt Heather," he murmurs, still a little unhappy.

"Oh, I'm going to need a lot of patience today," Evie says and looks at her little son who is starting to cry.

After an hour, they're all at the ceremony. Evie sits next to Nikki, with Bryce in her arms. The groom is waiting for his bride under an arch of white roses. Heather comes in, walking slowly toward Richie. Behind her are her daughters, Laura and Megan and Raelynn, who are throwing white rose petals behind them.

The groom can't take his eyes off his bride who looks gorgeous in her immaculate white lace dress with long sleeves that fits her so well. Heather arrives at Richie and her daughters go to their place, as does Raelynn who sits next to her parents.

After a while, Asher comes with the rings he holds on a velvet pillow and hands them to the bride and groom. They exchange the wedding rings and then kiss, the ceremony ending as beautifully as possible.

Later, at the reception, which takes place in a restaurant near the Eiffel Tower, Nikki and Evie go outside to catch their breath, leaving the children with the nanny. They walk closer to the tower, holding their hands, in the mist of the night.

"I really hope Heather did the right thing," Evie says suddenly, catching her husband's attention.

"Do you think she made a mistake marrying this guy?" Nikki asks.

"I don't know... They seem to love each other... He seems to love her. I hope everything is fine in the end. I think she hurried a little, but if she's happy... Everyone has the right to start their lives again after a breakup or divorce."

"And Tommy found someone else," her husband says calmly.

"Oh really? I mean, I'm not surprised. I'm just thinking about Laura and Megan... You know..."

"They'll be fine, honey. Even though their parents are no longer together, they have maintained a friendly relationship. They need to grow in harmony."

"I hope this never happens between us," Evie says, looking down with an insecure look.

"What are you talking about? Look at me, honey," Nikki frowns and moves his hand under her chin and lifts it slightly and looks into her trembling brown eyes. "We will never divorce. Ok? This will never happen. Our relationship is too perfect... And besides... I will never find someone like you again."

The worry on Evie's face fades easily and she smiles and adds:

"I hope so too. But you know... You never know what life prepares for us..."

"We're made for each other, honey," he says, brushing her cheek with his thumb.

"Yes, that's very true," she smiles and approaches him and kisses him with passion.

After a few days...

Although Heather and Richie's wedding are over, Nikki and Evie want to stay a few more days, maybe even a week in Paris because they really like it here and especially the children also want to stay more. So they stay here for a while.

Today they go out for a family to visit the city. They have an amazing day that they end up eliminating the stress and monotony around them.

Little Bryce is in a stroller, and his father pushes him and the other two children hold their mother's hand. They arrive in front of a shop window and Asher's gaze suddenly stops and looks intently at a plush toy on a shelf. It's a huge unicorn with a pink horn.

"Sweetie?" His mother asks him, looking confused at her son. "What happened? Do you want something from there?"

Nikki also stops and looks at his son who seems absorbed at that toy.

"Yes, I want that unicorn!" The boy shouts and points at the toy.

Everyone looks at the toy he points and his sister snorts with laughter:

"Asher wants a unicorn? You hate my unicorn collection. Why do you want one now? Only girls play with unicorns."

"It's not for me!" Asher exclaims angrily. "It's for... It's for Skylar," he says in a whisper.

"Oh, I see," his mother smiles and looks at Nikki who has a funny face. "Do you want to give your friend a gift?"

"Yes," Asher nods. "I promised to bring her a gift from Paris. I have to take this unicorn from her. Skylar loves unicorns."

"Aw, a very nice gesture, sweetie," his mother smiles and caresses the top of his head. "I really think Skylar will love this gift."

"Asher loves Skylar!" Raelynn starts laughing and points to her brother.

"Hey! Not true!" The boy protests and his cheeks turn red immediately. "I just want to give her a present."

But his sister doesn't stop laughing and Asher gets angrier.

"Raelynn, stop!" Her mother says. "Stop laughing at your brother. He just wants to give Skylar a gift. So... let's go get it," she says and gestures to her husband to go inside.

"Then I want a unicorn to add to my unicorn collection!" Raelynn says as she walks into the store with her family.

"Here we go again," Evie sighs and looks at Nikki who laughs and then she does the same.
