Everything was going perfect. Sully had just gotten accepted into the Roar Omega Roar house and you two had just become official.

It was like a dream come true. Especially when you came over for a party in that skin-tight outfit. He couldn't keep his hands off of you.

He showed you off to all of the guys, braging about your grades and good looks.

He played off being jealous when Johnny winked at you.

He wasn't the jealous type.

Well, he wasn't until Big Red spotted you.

He left for at least 15 minutes to help Chip and Javi set up a ping pong table on the porch. You had said you were hungry and went to the buffet table to get some food.

No big deal.

As he came back inside, he spotted you with a soda and plate of pizza in hand. You were talking with someone.

He stopped when he realized who. Big Red. The campus flirt.

You were clearly just making small talk, but he couldn't help the small fire in his chest seeing you laugh at something he said.

He was walking before he understood what was happening. He came to your side, wrapping an arm around your much smaller shoulders.

"Hey, baby, the ping pong table it all set up, wanna play?" His eyes never left your face, not showing any notion that Red was even there.

"Evenin' Sully," Big Red mumbled, sipping a soda, eyes squinted.

"Oh, hey, Big Red, having a good time?" His arm slipped from your shoulders to your waist.

"Yeah, just talkin' to your friend here-"

"Partner," He interrupted.

"Excuse me?" Big Red's squared his shoulders, puffing his chest up.

"They're my partner, and if you'll excuse us, we have somewhere to be," He gently pushed you away from him, leading you towards the main hall.

You were led up the stairs and into his room, to which you set down the food on his desk and turned to him.

"What was that about?"

"What?" He ran his hands down the sides of his face.

"That whole "stand off" with Big Red?" You studied his face, you could tell he was hiding something.

"Just talking," He brushed off your question, rolling his shoulders and turning away from you. He shoved his hands into his jacket.

You thought about what happened, everything you said, everything he said and did. Then it hit you.

"Are you jealous?" You put your hands on your hips, titling your head towards him.

"No," He scoffed, not meeting your eyes. But you saw how his shoulders tensed, how he clenched his jaw.

"Sull," You cooed, walking up behind him, putting your small hand on his arm. "Look at me, Sull," You pulled his  arm till he was looking at you, you reached your arm up and cupped his jaw. "Nothing happened with Big Red, he tried to, but I quickly told him I was taken,"

"I know, it's just that I'm a freshman and he's a junior and a good scarer and-" He started to ramble, he looked to the floor.

"And you think I'd leave you for him?"

Sully slowly nodded. You put both your hands on the side of his head.

"James P. Sullivan, there is no monster I'd rather be with than you, don't ever forget that,"

A smile crept onto his face, he chuckled softly and buried his face into your hands.

"Promise?"

"I promise," You pulled him down and kissed away all the negative thoughts in his head. Kissed him with so much love he'd never forget it.
