In the realm of Aesir, a very different world exists called Asgard. It was the home to being's that looked much like human's. Though they looked like them, they were more advanced and considered to be God's. God's with special abilities, like, super strength, durability, enhanced speed, and enhanced healing. They typically lived longer than the average life span, although they were not immortal. Every being on Asgard was this way, except the royal family member's who were blessed with gift's and magic.

Occasionally, though rare, gift's and magical abilities were granted to a fair few regular folk. The royal family had followed an old law for generation's that stated, magic must be kept within the royal blood line. Along with the exception of immediate royal guard's, if their gift was able to be used for the benefit of the realm. If anyone else was born with a gift they were to be exiled off Asgard. In some circumstance's, if found with a gift that was not reported or considered dangerous, they were sentenced to be punished for their crimes against the throne. Resulting in death.

Thousand's of year's passed as this was the way the realm was ruled by Odin Borson and his father King Bor before him, and so on. Heimdall, the Gate Keeper of the Bifrost on Asgard, with the magical ability of sight, had a half brother through his father. Ethadrial. Ethadrial was a wise, kind, and strong soldier of the guard, though unlike his brother, he did not possess any magical gift's. Bree, a simple maiden of the realm, was of no magical origin's either. Bree grew up as best friend to the lovely lady, Frigga. Who eventually became, Queen of Asgard.

Bree and Ethadrial met as teenager's and quickly fell in a deep and passionate love for one another. As adult's, they married and lived a very normal and happy life in Asgard. When Bree found out she was pregnant, the expecting parent's were overjoyed and excited to welcome a little one into their world. As Bree grew bigger with each passing month, she and her husband both became excited and anxious to meet their child and watch them grow. Frigga, being Bree's best friend, was more than happily excited as they would have children within a year of each other, to hopefully grow and be best friend's just as they were.

(Ah-mahr-ra, Ca-rhiss, Ethan-dre-all-doe-tee-air) Pronunciation. Her name means Everlasting Love.

Amara Carys Ethadrialdottier was born. She was a beautiful baby girl, soft pale skin, chocolate brown hair, and emerald green eye's. Never had they suspected or had any reason to believe that she would actually carry gift's of her own. Shortly after Amara was born, her parent's discovered a violet glow from their baby girl's finger tip's. Both her parent's were terrified of what was going to happen to their baby girl as gift's were not allowed to have in their family.

Ethadrial and Bree spoke about their child and what to do next. They didn't want to expose her power's and get her exiled, or worse killed. So, Ethadrial asked for the person closest to him to come and visit and assess his daughter. His brother, Heimdall.
Heimdall came as soon as he was able, hearing the urgency in his brother's tone. Once Ethadrial informed him of what he, himself witnessed the child do. Heimdall, being of magic himself, could sense the magic within her very flesh and it was going to be much more powerful one day. He knew he needed someone with a much greater experience in this type of magic to assess the little one. To really be able to give Bree and Ethadrial the answer's they so desperately sought.

After many hours of deliberation, Ethandrial, wearily agreed the best person to speak to was Frigga. They knew how much she cared for Bree and hoped that she wouldn't tell, Odin, her husband about Amara's gift's. When Frigga came visiting she immediately sensed the girl's power. It was strangely overwhelming for one so small. She, of course, agreed not to tell anyone and offered to help train her and to keep her gift's hidden as she grew older. As she too didn't agree with the old rule.

Despite Amara being gifted and possibly feared for the power she would one day possess. Frigga, was a kind woman and Queen, showing her son's the power of compassion and love and the wonder's it could hold. They continued on as planned and introduced Frigga's son's. Thor and Loki, to Amara, as they got older. They to became best friend's, just as their parent's were.
As Amara grew, so did her power.
