Down on the ground, we took a moment to catch our breath's. After we had, we started helping the civilians into the buildings near us, where they would hopefully be as safe as possible.
"Okay, as fun as this is. Does anyone have a plan yet?" I asked ushering a mom and child into the shelter.
"The next wave's going to hit any minute. What have you got, Stark?" Steve asked.
"Huh? Nothing great." Tony replied sounding defeated. "Maybe a way to blow up the city. That'll keep it from impacting the surface, if you guys can get clear."
"You mean, have us escape while all these people stay up here and get blown up?" I asked wide eyed.
"I asked for a solution, not an escape plan." Steve shook his head."I'm sorry guys, but every second the radius impact gets bigger. We're gonna have to make a choice." Tony replied softly.
"Guys these people are going nowhere. If Stark finds a way to blow this rock..." Nat said as the three of us stood together.
"Not 'til everyone's safe." Steve said.
"Everyone up here versus everyone down there? There's no math there." Nat argued.
"I'm not leaving this rock with one civilian on it." Steve stated firmly.
"I don't think we should go either. I mean there's worst way's to die right?" I asked. "I'd use my power's to set them all down to safety, but we're to high up. It would take to long." I sighed. Steve placed a hand on my shoulder and we smiled weakly at one another.
"Well, like you said. There's worse ways to go. I mean, where else am I gonna get a view like this?" Nat smirked as we looked out over the city to the cloud bank.
"Glad you like the view Romanoff." A familiar voice said over our coms. "It's about to get better."
The three of us looked out surprised to see a helicarrier rise from below us, at the edge of the city.
"Nice, right? Pulled her out of moth balls with a couple of old friends. She's dusty, but she'll do." Nick Fury said.
"Yes, thank the heavens." I said happily.
"Fury, you son of a bitch." Steve said.Nat and I looked at each other and then back at Steve shocked. We let out loads bout's of laughter.
"Oooh! You kiss your mother with that mouth." Fury chuckled.
Life boats, flew out from the helicarrier and towards the floating rock. Pietro suddenly stood next to me and he smiled brightly at the boats coming forth.
"This is Shield?" He asked.
"This is what Shield's is supposed to be." Steve answered proudly.
"This is not so bad." Pietro said and I chuckled.
"You're absolutely right. Thanks, Uncle Nick." I said into my com.
"You're welcome, Amara." He chuckled after hearing the name I haven't used in years.
"Steve, I think you have plenty of people here. I'm going to go help Thor." I stated.
"You got it. Let's load 'em up!" Steve shouted.
Clint, Pietro, Wanda, Steve and Natasha worked on ushering the people onto the helicarriers. I used my power to get back to the church in the center of the city. When I arrived I caught sight of Vision. We stood together and he put a finger up to his lips. I nodded at him and we slowly walked forward. Ultron was beating on Thor, holding him by the throat. Thor was putting up a good fight.
