We waited a little while, and eventually my Dad came to pick Fury and I up. We drove along to the airport and boarded a plane home. Once we got to New York we went to Shield Headquarter's. My father had to make a call to a person named Natasha Romanoff. Asking her to find and bring in another person named Bruce Banner.

After he was finished Dad brought me into a conference room after being called in by Fury, who brought down some files. I looked at them and inside the folder were 7 individual profiles. Who they were, where they were from, what kind of power's they possessed or abilities they had. I quickly came across my own picture.

"So you want me to be apart of this... Avengers Initiative? That's what you were talking about?" I asked and looked between them both curiously. My father's face looked surprised and looked at Fury quickly.

"No. She's not ready for something like that." Dad quickly frowned.

"What exactly is this Avengers thing anyway?" I look away from the files for a moment to meet Fury's eyes.

"The Avengers Initiative was an idea to bring together a group of remarkable people to see if they can become more. You happen to be one of those people, Amara. You're stronger than the average person, heal quicker too. Your power of the mind is unlike anything we've ever seen before and that's called telekinesis. But, you already knew that. Today, Amara, you created a force field that saved my life. Your abilities must be more advanced than we originally thought." Fury explained.

"You made a force field today?" Dad turned and looked at me with curiosity in his eyes.

"Yeah, I guess I did... But I'm still not entirely sure how. It was like a weird instinct. I-I don't know almost anything about my power's. Clearly no one else does either, or my file wouldn't be filled with so many question mark's. So, how could I become apart of a team of other heroes?"

"Well, you're old enough now that you can be trained to use them under our supervision and maybe..." Fury explained. Before he could say anymore, my father cut him off.

"No. Absolutely not." He stated shaking his head.

"Dad..."

"Amara, this is extremely dangerous. I don't want to see you get hurt." Dad stated. He looked at me with a scared and sad expression. I reached out and put my hand on his.

"Daddy, I won't. You know I'm always careful. You can trust me, can't you?" I asked softly, tilting my head slightly.

"Well, yeah. Of course I do... But, how are you going to train her?" Dad redirected his attention to Fury.

"We will start off in a category she already knows something about. Hand to hand combat. As for her actual abilities. I'm not entirely sure yet, but we'll get it worked out. We always do." Fury smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Well that's not very convincing, Nick." Dad huffed and crossed his arms. I got up and walked behind him. Giving a hug around his shoulder as he sat in the chair.

"Dad. Look at me." I turned him around and kneeled in front of him. "I'm a big girl now, okay? Let me do this. I know I'm 18 and I don't technically need your permission. But, you know that your approval is everything to me. I want to do this, I want to learn about my ability. If you really don't want me to join this group. I won't do it. I love you too much to go against you." I said sweetly, looking into his eye's.

"*Sigh* Fine. It'll help you. But, you must promise me that when you've had enough, you take a break. Don't over work yourself..." He started to say, but saw my pleading eyes. He smiled softly and lightly touched my cheek. "When did you become so grown up?" Dad stated and hugged me.
