Several months after the death of Emperor Muantero at the hands of the animals of the Pride Lands, the Empire Of Osha comes to an end due to a series of civil wars breaking out because of there being no successor to the throne.
When the public was told that the emperor was dead, they were told he just died of a very aggressive untreatable disease, when in actuality he died from Rafiki shoving his staff straight through the emperor's back.
From out of what remained of Osha, was a man named Gene McCoy, a surviving soldier of the Pride Lands battle and a key witness to the death of Emperor Muantero. He was extremely upset over the emperor's death and the collapse of the empire, so he told everyone how the emperor truly died, and founded the ARO (Alliance to Restore Osha).
He then drafted over 5000 volunteers aging from 16 to 40 years old to act as the ARO's grand army, and he declared himself commander-in-chief, and they all then went through an intense training process.
