The window let in the light from a semi cloudy day. The air was frigid, yet the sun peaked through the clouds, pouring a small portion of the outside into the hospital room. There was only a single white bed which held two pillows for a green haired person to rest their head on. With one cream colored blanket, placed on his fragile figure. His eyes were closed, as he breathed unevenly in the mist of his sleep. Some flowers were sitting on top of an oak table, it was a little shorter than the bed, standing close by.

The door slowly opened as a head popped into the room. It had blonde hair and a worried expression. He attempted to be quiet while stepping from the hallway, yet a creak sounded and Izuku began to turn his head to the left side of his pillow. Katsuki lowly cursed as he accepted that Izuku is more than likely to be awake now. He walked over to the flowers and placed a card from his mother. He gracefully made sure it was sitting against the vase to have a better appeal. He wanted it to be perfect when Izuku was actually able comprehend what they may be. He had been in and out sleep for at least a week, he didn't know much of what was going on. Though, the doctors mentioned he may be well enough to hold a conversation today.

Which was one reason, Katsuki wanted to be here to ensure everything was perfect when he officially came back into the world. He looked at Izuku and smiled lightly, he seemed to be in between a deep sleep and waking up slowly. The blonde decided to sit down next to him, just staring at the person he loved the most. Awaiting his return to him, at last.

After a little while, Izuku managed to squint his eyes and turn to the right of him, to see a familiar face. His frown upturned into a slight grin as Katsuki looked down at his phone. He watched as his hands scrolled through the screen, tapping anxiously, wandering aimlessly on the news articles that came up. Though as Izuku was able to open his eyes fully, he coughed lightly. Katsuki immediately brought his attention up towards him.

"H-hey" Izuku stated, stuttering with his horse voice. A smile firmly planted on his features as a familiar expression went upon Katsuki's. They held eye contact for a few seconds, happiness flowing in each other's hearts. Katsuki slowly put down his phone and into his pocket, never breaking their constant sight line.

"Hey nerd" he said while smirking, all knowingly. As he leaned forward, Izuku laughed lightly. His normal warmth showing through. Something he hadn't seen in a while. A change that he had been longing to see. Ever since that incident occurred and his fire was lost. All that was left was small fog, no spark or flame to be seen. Until now, something tiny was burning within him. It wouldn't be the same for a while, yet he was glad to see some sort of change. "How are you feeling?"

Izuku nodded in acknowledgment as he attempted to sit up further.

"I think I'm okay" he stated as he felt immediate pain shoot up in body. "Maybe I shouldn't move too much right now."

Katsuki agreed as he pulled his chair closer, wanting to embrace him but holding back for the sake of not knowing where they truly stood. He continuously adjusted his seating, moving his hands from in his pockets to out, and racked his hand through his hair a few times before feelings comfortable enough.

"I could have told you that" he replied, darting his eye line away. "So, do you remember anything?"

Izuku pondered for a moment, laying his head back, looking around at everything he could. To the window, to the flowers, to the slightly open door. The white walls pretending to cave into him. He remembered many things, yet he couldn't decipher if they were real. So many memories surfacing through his mind, ones of Katsuki, others of villains, and most with a hint of love in them. Though he wasn't sure if he wanted to relive them just yet.

"Who are these from?" Izuku asked, finally noticing the flowers, reaching out to feel the petals of a pink bloom. It had the touch of a soft, cloud like pillow. He smiled at the texture as he brought his vision back to Katsuki, who was taken aback by the question.
