The cold air wrapped around the two that rested on the sidewalk. The area was covered in a white frost that nipped at the duo's senses. They walked side by side, one shivering for warmth, the other holding a well known scowl.
Izuku's hand reached up to his sides as he rubbed against them, trying to create a friction that would take away this chilled feeling. Though it was all for nothing as a freeze shifted up his spine.
Katsuki noticed Izuku's movements as he wrapped an arm around the shorter boy, pulling him closer. At first, Izuku was startled by the sudden contact, with a well known red spreading across his face, but soon enough, he leaned into the arm that reached out for him. Izuku's head was placed against the blonde's shoulder as they kept moving closer to their destination.
"Thanks Kacchan" Izuku stated as he smiled up at the blonde, eyes wide and full of gratefulness. Izuku had begun to feel much better, the crisp air that seemed to bound him down was taken away as the fire Katsuki stored had made it's way, melting the frozen mind that laid in his head.
"Whatever nerd" Katsuki replied as he looked away with a slight hint of pink, littering his cheeks. A pounding of his heart rippled through his chest as they moved through the city.
People were scattered around, some rubbing their hands together from the cold, others hurrying their steps trying to get to where they needed to go. And then there were the few that walked slowly, taking in their surroundings and listening to the wind that passed them.
Izuku and Katsuki had felt as if time had slowed down, they were in their own little world not minding the demons that laid near them. It could be reminded of a snow globe, a winter wonderland that couldn't be disrupted nor eluded. They were stuck, but none minded if they could be in each other's arms for eternity. A sense of peace, comfort, and safety was within their space. It couldn't be shattered unless someone were to knock over their place of serenity.
Though what were the odds of that?
A tower was sent in their sight of vision as they neared closer. Izuku looked up at Katsuki with confusion. "Where are we going, Kacchan?"
"You'll see" The blonde stated with no hint of annoyance in his voice. It sounded almost happy, with a light tone. Somewhat like the five year old Katsuki that was carefree and innocent, the one that didn't have an overflowing ego and unshockable pride.
"Bu-"
"Be patient" Katsuki's grip on Izuku's shoulder tightened to reassure him, as he placed a well-knowing smirk on his face.
Izuku smiled up at him and nodded, trudging along the path until the tower was in close view. They stopped when they came to a glass door, Katsuki immediately removed his arm and grabbed the handle, opening it while waiting for Izuku to pass by.
At first, Izuku just stared, confusion filling his mind while looking at the blonde's actions. Then realization hit him as he muttered a few apologies quickly rushing in. Katsuki chuckled lightly at Izuku, following him into the building.
Izuku felt the rush of warm air circle around him and immediately relaxed no longer having the constant cold against him. He then looked around taking in his surroundings, the place seemed to be mostly barren for what looked to be a tourist spot. There laid a few tables off to the side that had papers and pamphlets, that told about the tower and a sign that pointed out where the bathrooms were.
Then in the middle was a huge elevator that had about ten people waiting around it. Izuku assumed this was the main attraction and followed Katsuki to where others stood. Excitement filled his bones as he waited in anticipation, shifting his feet every so often.
