Warning: Heavy Angst
A body laid on the ground, a blue-green hero costume beginning to seem tattered and worn, an expression that showed fatigue and a distraught mood. His eyes closed tightly, not wanting to wake up to this ever constant nightmare.
His stomach growled, wanting more food than he had been given. It craved something sweet, something made with substance. Not the mush that was fed to him on a paper plate. Yet he stayed still, laying on his side, facing the dark wall that he had grown far too close with.
It had only been a week it seemed, though he wasn't completely sure. The madness of staying in this one room was beginning to take a toll on him. He craved the sunlight, the blinding glaze that used to make his days worse than none. Now he wished he could curl up against it, to feel the warmth of the light.
He outstretched his hand to the wall feeling the jagged bricks. He could almost smile at the texture. It was something other than the constant want of something more.
How he wished he could go back into those arms. To lay against another person and to feel complete. To let the guilt go of those you've hurt. To let yourself feel the true and unadulterated warmth of another person.
That's all he wanted. He wanted to deserve it again.
Yet these days he found that more difficult than usual.
The door opened with a loud crash against the brick. His arms jumped at the loud noise. His nerves on edge, awaiting the words of the man he feared the most.
He couldn't remember the time of day to know what he came in for. There were only two instances of contact outside of this room.
"Deku. Wake up boy!" He yelled as he kicked Izuku's side. Izuku raised his hand to the new found bruise, covering it, trying to help subdue the pain. "Open your eyes, if not for me, then for the people you let die in front of you."
Izuku's mouth quivered as he slowly let his sight come into view. His hands shook as he rose from the comfort of the ground.
"Still not saying anything? Let me do the talking then."
Izuku shook his head back and forth quickly, not wanting to hear the words of the villainous man in front of him.
An evil smirk went across the man's mouth as his face was still covered with that purple mask. He quickly lifted Izuku up by his hair, bringing him to eye level.
"Do we need to show the video this time?" He asked, not able to contain the joy of the fearful boy. Izuku tried to get out of the man's grasp, unable to get out of the strong grip.
"I think you need to see the damage you created, Deku~" He states as he sung Izuku's name sweetly, which felt like a stab in his side.
"...n..."
"Go on! Tell me no! Wouldn't you like to see what happens!" The man laughed demonically as his threw his own head back, getting immense pleasure from all of the pain in Izuku's eyes.
"..n-n...o"
The villain threw Izuku onto the ground, as a crack sounded throughout the room. The man could only smile as he stood proudly over the injury he had done.
Izuku groaned, not moving from the incredible amount of pain it came with. His body laid flat, his stomach faced towards the floor. He was uncomfortable, the safe place the ground had been to him was taken away in an instant. Now all he had was the cold immeasurable wounds left on his hazy mind.
He just needed that warmth back. That person who held him closely that night, the one who had truly worried for his well being, the one who had been in his life all those years.
