Izuku squints at the harsh sunlight as it slightly burns his eyes when looking up. Katsuki stands next to him as they excitiedly start onto their new assignment.
He wore his hero costume, it was a greenish blue with sliver lines on the sleeves and the neck. Along with a metal guard lining his throat. It wasn't much different from his original idea, some occasional changes that enhanced the way he physically moves, such as making him faster and allowing easier access to use his quirk.
Izuku stood proud and looked quite confident despite his first time being out here since the incident. Yet inside his mind, his thoughts were jumbled. They were spinning and jumping all around his head. They were unable to stay still, and it was beyond Izuku's control. Though he attempted to keep his cool and focus on their mission. He looked slightly up, calming himself with the sky.
Overall it was a sunny day, not many clouds were seen as the blue was brightly shown. As if it were an ocean with clear water, shimmering and sparkling, just waiting to be jumped into. Though the cold, harsh air hit them like a bullet.
A noise then brought him from his daydream, as suddenly Katsuki jumped up, activating his quirk slightly as he boosted forward to the destination. Izuku saw this and immediately realized they weren't going to walk to the crime scene. He gulped as uneasiness flowed through his body, with light nervousness already appearing. He hadn't used his quirk for over two months, he wasn't sure what would happen. Yet he reluctently activated his quirk, not wanting to be left behind.
He leaped into the air and heightened his distance by going forward. He immeditatly felt a rush of adrenealine coursing through his veins as he jumped from building to building.
Before he knew it, the crime scene was already quickly in his view. Izuku saw Katsuki land and darted towards him, landing next to him. The blonde had a glimmer of excitement in his eyes. Izuku noted the rare moment of this emotion exerting from Katsuki.
Izuku then looked around slightly, curiosity glowing through him. Until something caught his eye. A square of sidewalk was rounded off with a sign that read 'evidence'. This made Izuku wonder as he slowly stepped towards it, questioning what it could be.
Not much was there, the only thing that remained was a doll. Izuku was intrigued by the pure wonder of what he saw. It was a small girl, blonde hair and blue eyes, she was wearing a pink dress with white pants underneath. Anyone could assume it would be a normal doll, it looked almost like one you'd find in a store. That was until Izuku looked at the face, it had a traumatized and quite frightening look as if she'd seen a monster of some sort. It chilled him to the bone as the case came back into his mind. He took a step back as he took time to analyze the situation, making his way back over to the blonde.
Katsuki had been talking with an individual who had found the doll. They were a high school student walking back from their day at school when their eyes had landed on the small girl. At first she thought it was an item that was dropped but then quickly she realized it was different. The girl tried to pick it up but it was very heavy, as if it were the size of a human. It was later found out that this resembled a girl who had been missing earlier that day.
As the blonde listened to the girl's story, he mentally took notes. Trying to think of ways this could have been done without a quirk. Through his thoughts, he couldn't think of anything. How could someone have an exact replica of a person made into a doll out of nowhere. It didn't make any sense to him. He broke out of his thoughts once someone came into his view.
