I couldn't focus at all throughout the day. My mind kept drifting to Stu. There was a chance to just let him leave and not have to worry about him anymore but I told him to pick me up. The smile that had pulled at the corner or his lips, the way his eyes lit up, it was the old Stu behind it not the psychotic killer from a year ago.

**There must be something telling wrong in my head if I'm considering even going him a chance. What kind of normal person gives the psychopath that tried to kill them?! Of course I don't forgive him and probably never will, but having him there last night made me feel safe in some sick twisted way.**

As soon as the final bell rang I was out of my chair and practically ran out of the school. I wasn't sure if Stu was going to even be there. For all I know he left like he said he was going to. That whole thought went out the window though once I walked outside. He was across the street leaning on the side of his car, sunglasses on, arms crossed over his chest, legs crossed at the ankles. You wouldn't know it was Stu Macher, one of the Woodsboro killers, not if you hadn't spent almost every waking moment with him, every single day. He looks kinda different now that he has that blonde hair.

But that didn't stop me from walking as quickly as possible towards him. "What're you doing?! Are you fucking stupid? Anyone could recognize you!" I hissed at him. He opened the passenger side door, with a smile on his face, "Haven't been caught yet." I rolled my eyes and got in the car. Stu shut the door, jogged around to the drivers side, got in and pulled out into the street. "Where to?" He asked. "Home. I mean it's not like we can go anywhere else and I'm sure my dad will call and check in." He lifted up off the seat and reached into his pocket pulling out a phone.

"Here. Call your dad and tell him you're going to be staying with a friend for the weekend and you'll be home Sunday night," he said, handing me the phone. "Excuse me?" I asked. "Yeah. We'll stop by your place and you can pack a bag then we'll head up to my parents cabin," he said, taking his eyes off the road for a second to look over at me. "Aren't you afraid that your parents will find out?" I asked. "Who do you think has been helping me and Billy all this time?" He asked. My mouth fell open as I gawked at him. "What?!" I shouted. He laughed and said, "Yeah. My mom and dad are the ones that have been helping us out. You know money, place to stay, my mom would bring us groceries and all that. They even got us an apartment in Ohio," he said.

"Wait. You have an apartment in Ohio? Is it near the school?" I asked. "It's about half an hour away maybe. It's not far but not too close. So what do you say? Get away from Woodsboro for a weekend, promise I’m not going to do anything,” he said. I took the phone and called my dad. Probably not the smartest thing to do but apparently I don’t care or I’m just not as smart as I thought I was. The other line rang until my dad picked up.“Hello?” He answered. “Hey, dad,” I said. “Y/N? Hey, sweetheart, is something wrong?” He asked. “No! No! I just wanted to call and ask if you would be okay with me spending the weekend with a friend,” I said. “Friend? What friend?” He asked. “Just someone I met in my biology class. Her parents have a cabin up north in the mountains and she thought it would be a good idea just to get away for the weekend,” I said. There was silence for a couple minutes before he answered, “Yeah, sure. That’s fine, when will you be home?” He asked. “Sunday night,” I told him. “Alright, I’ll see you Sunday night. Have fun, I love you.” I smiled and hung up.

I handed Stu his phone and he asked, "So? He okay with you going?" I nodded my head, "Yeah. I hate lying to him though. I shouldn't even go anywhere with you. I should call Dewey and tell Dewey you're still hanging around Woodsboro. I'm completely insane for even being in a car with you! I know you have that knife and you could simply kill me at any moment," I said. "You done? Because we're here. And for the hundredth time... I don't want to hurt you. I don't plan on hurting you. I-- I wish I could take it all back. If I could go back and do it all over again I wouldn't have gone along with Billy's plan-- not if I knew I was going to fall so fucking hard for you."

"You want me to pull into the garage until we leave?" He asked. I nodded my head, "yeah." I got out of the car and walked into the garage through the side door. I pushed the button to open the garage and Stu pulled in. I pushed the button to close the door and walked inside without waiting for him. I walked upstairs to my room and set my bag down. I went to my closet, pulled out a duffle bag and set it on my bed. I was packing when Stu came up stairs, leaned on the door frame to my room and watched me. The phone on my bedside table rang, I reached over, picking up, and answering, "Hello?"

"Hey." A small smile pulled at the corner of my mouth. "Hey, Sid!" I said happily. "What're you doing?" She asked. I haven't talked to Sidney much since she left for Windsor. "Nothing. How's college life?" I asked. I pushed the duffle bag over and fell onto my stomach on the bed, my legs bent up, ankles crossed over one another. "It's okay. I met someone. He's been asking me to go on a date with him. "Ooh... What's his name?" I asked. "Derek. He's a year ahead of me and he's in a fraternity," she said. "What! He's a frat boy? Are you going to join a sorority?" I asked. "Oh, my god, no! He's really sweet. He claims he didn't know who I was until his friend Mickey mentioned it to him," she told me.

"Do a lot of people there know who we are?" I asked. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Stu getting into my dresser drawers and pulling out clothes. He started shoving them into the bag as I talked to Sidney. I sat up when I saw him put in my white bikini. I pulled It out by the string and raised an eyebrow. "Hot tub," he mouthed. I rolled my eyes and went back to talking to Sid. "Of course. Especially with the movie coming out next year. It's based on our lives," she said. "No it's based on Gale's book. The book where she made us out to be sluts, Dewey a stupid cop, and Randy some unknown background character. And let's not forget she made herself the hero!" I said, getting worked up over it.

"I talked to dad. He said you're going up to a friend's cabin. Do I know her?" She asked, changing the subject. "You dont know... him," I said slowly. "Him?" She asked, with a teasing tone. "Yes him. I only told dad it was a girl so he wouldn't freak out," I said. "Who is it? What's he look like? Is he cute?" She asked. I laughed and shook my head, "Yes he's cute, tall, blue eyes, blonde hair, and I think he just moved here over the summer or something," I said. Stu had a huge smile on his face as he winked at me. "What's his name?" Sidney asked. I didn't say anything. I didn't think she would ask. "Um... his name is... Tim," I said.
