Y/n Pov
I finished my performance for the moment, I walked offstage and saw my brother talking to some customers. I walked over and heard my brother talking.
"Yeah. She really didn't like the idea of moving so she wanted to just hangout here with me."
He's talking about me.
"Is that a bad thing?"
And suddenly, all eyes were on me. My brother had whipped around to face me, his eyes wide.
"For fucks sake, Y/n! Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!"
I looked at him, deadpanning. "Wasn't my intention. I just heard ya talking about me and felt like joining in."
"God! I think I just lost ten years of my life!"
I rolled my eyes then looked at the guys my brother was talking to... among them was 'Tomu. I waved to my roomie. "Hey, 'Tomu! Whatcha doing here? And who are these very cool-looking dudes?"
I internally cringed at my own sentence. 'Ew... what's wrong with me? I know I'm chill right now, but god that was so damn cringey. Kill me now.'
'Tomu just smiled back. "I'm here with my teammates. We just came here after practice to get something to eat. I didn't know this was where you worked."
I chuckled, looking away. "Yeah... well, my big bro owns the place and I love to sing, so my spot as a performer was just guaranteed. Also, if you want actual food, I highly recommend the miso soup and fried rice... if ya want sweets, then I highly recommend the cherry blossom doriyaki, or the dango, the taiyaki is also really good. As for snacks, whether to go or just something quick for after practice, try our onigiri, takoyaki, or curry buns!"
"Y/n. What are you, a walking ad?" My brother deadpanned.
I shrugged. "I'm just helping your business and giving my roomie a suggestion. I guess I'll just go to the break room for my own dinner and relax for a bit." I turned and walked away, going to rest and drink a lot of milk tea to soothe my aching throat from all the singing I've been doing.
Semi Pov
She walked away, her beautiful hair flowing behind her. God... why did she have to be so beautiful?
The others had apparently already ordered, while I stared, daydreaming about that girl with the most angelic voice I've ever heard.
"SEMI!"
"Ah, what?!" I jumped in my seat, turning to see a very pissed off Shirabu.
"You gonna order or what?!"
I looked at the menu. "F-fried rice and miso soup?"
B/n nodded, writing it down. "Either me or my baby sis will be bringing your food back out when it's done. After she and I cook it together." He smiled and left.
"She cooks too... she's perfect..." I hadn't realized I spoke aloud.
Tendou snickered. "Semisemi's in love~."
Kawanishi joined in. "He's met his dream girl."
Shirabu smacked me. "Get your head out of the clouds!"
"Ow! The fuck, Shirabu?!"
"Hey, watch your mouth. This is a family cafe. There are children!"
I turned and saw the angel herself, standing before me with a playful smile on her face. "Oh... uh... s-sorry."
Goshiki decided to joke with the girl. "Thought you weren't supposed to come out till our food was done... or you go up to perform again." He smirked.
She giggled. "Oops, I'm failing my job I guess. But really," Y/n suddenly became serious. "I was bored. And stupid B/n wouldn't give me a curry bun." She pouted.
Even when pouting she was absolutely stunning.
The smile soon returned to her face, she pulled up a chair and sat at the end of the table, close to me. "So, 'Tomu~, how was practice? Did ya mess up? Get yelled at? Have an angry senpai hit you?" She put her arms on the table, leaning forward.
Goshiki looked stunned. "No! They don't hit me! And I don't mess up! But Shirabu-san is always being mean to everyone other then Ushijima-san."
"I don't know who any of those people are, but imma just smile and nod and pretend like I know exactly who you're talking about." And she did just smile and nod.
Goshiki smiled at the girl. "Why'd ya ask?"
"Ah... well, remember when I told ya about my friend Lev?"
"Yeah?"
'Lev? Who's Lev? That doesn't even sound Japanese. Is it another guy? A first year? From Tokyo?'
She sighed. "Well, ya have a similar personality to him. So I was just wondering if your practices with your senpai are just like his. Guess not." She leaned down, her head on her arms and a sad smile on her face.
Shirabu peered around me to get a better look at the girl. "He doesn't suck... but he's stupid."
She burst out laughing. "Oh my god! Blunt as Yaku-senpai and Kenma-senpai! Man, 'Tomu, you only have one of Lev's features- lack of brain!" She kept laughing, a very beautiful laugh- angelic.
"Your voice is beautiful." I accidentally spoke aloud.
She sat up, looking into my eyes before giving another gorgeous smile. "Thanks! Music is my entire life! Oh! I don't know who any of you are! Names, please!"
"Y/NNNNNNN!"
"Fuck!" She silently cursed before getting up. "Gotta go, see ya guys! Tell me your names the next time I see ya if 'Tomu doesn't tell me all about all of you!" She winked and jogged off.
I sighed, staring at the disappearing figure, my elbows resting on the table and my head in my hands. "She's amazing." I smiled (like an idiot).
Shirabu scoffed. "You're smiling like an idiot." (Thank you Shirabu)
I turned to him. "Stop being salty. It's ruining my mood."
"And you drooling over the owner's younger sister, who just happens to be a first year at our school, is pissing me off." Shirabu retorted.
<A/N: We 👏 love 👏 Shirabu's 👏 saltiness👏
No arguments
Anywhore... back to the story ig>
I turned away, not in the mood to have an argument with Shirabu, especially not in this cafe.
Not with that angel in the same building.
She walked back onto the stage, taking her seat and picking up her guitar. She began singing again.
I tuned out everything aside from her voice. Right here, right now, all that mattered was me being able to hear Y/n sing. Her angelic voice was all I needed to forget about all the bad things in life.
She's an angel that's becoming my own inspiration. I'm falling for her. I want to know her better. I want us to grow close.
I want to sing with her one day.
