"Why aren't you singing, Y/n?"

I looked at my brother. We were in the kitchen. I sighed. "I have writer's block and haven't been inspired enough to write new songs. So, I wanted to bake."

B/n shrugged. "Ok then. So what's been going on at school?"

"For the past week the guys have been getting me to eat lunch with them, only to make me sit across from Semi."

He laughed. "They're all tryna get you two together! Do they know you like him?"

I shook my head. "I only told Tomu and he promised to never say a word."

"Hmm. That so? Then... that could mean Eita likes you and his team knows it."

I looked at him with wide eyes, no longer focusing on my baking. "What?!"

"Just a guess. Or they just might think you two would be cute since you guys perform duets now."

I sighed, turning back to my work. "Dunno. Don't really wanna think about it anymore."

"Fine. But stop with going overboard with the cakes! And no more drinking coffee! Go out and be a waitress!"

I rolled my eyes. "Fine."

I left the kitchen, being told to serve a specific table. And, just my luck, the volleyball team happened to be the customers I'm going to be waiting on.

"Nope." I turned around, beginning to walk back to the kitchen.

Until a certain redhead's voice rang through the small space. "Y/n!"

"Goddamn it." I turned back around and painted a smile on my face. "Hey! Looks like I'm your waitress." I'm complaining about that other girl later.

Semi looked at me. "Oh. Are you not performing tonight?"

I looked away, chuckling nervously. "About that... writer's block is kicking my ass right now. So I've been in the kitchen for my entire shift. Until now, since B/n kicked me out."

"What was the reason? Baking too much cake?" He joked.

I deadpanned. "That's the exact reason."

He began stifling laughter, hiding his mouth behind one of his hands. "Can't believe you'd do that and get kicked out of the kitchen." He was shaking from how much he was suppressing his laughter.

I frowned. "Mean. You're technically off, but now I'm thinking about making you go up and perform."

He looked at me, mouth agape. "Why?!"

"Cuz your being mean." I pouted, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Stop being a baby and actually act like a waitress." B/n had come up behind me.

I jumped. "For fucks sake! Stop before you actually give me a heart attack!"

He smirked. "Oh, how the turntables."

I began walking away. "I'm gonna bake a cake and you can wait on them."

He grabbed the back of my collar. "Oh no you don't! We have too much cake! Stay out of the kitchen!"

I puffed my cheeks out. "Rude."

Semi burst out laughing. "Please tell me how much she had to bake to her kicked out of the kitchen!"

B/n started laughing. "38."

Semi laughed uncontrollably, some of his teammates joining him. But only a few of the guys knew about my cake obsession, Semi being one of them, of course.

"I'm going to the break room." I pouted, getting ready to turn away, until B/n spoke.

"Why not just stay here and sit in Eita's lap?" My brother joked.

I froze, standing rigid. I whipped around to face my brother. "B/n!"

Everyone besides me and Semi burst out laughing.

I frowned. "Imma quit if y'all don't stop."

That shut all of them up immediately. Tomu was the only one to apologize. "Sorry, Y/n. It wasn't really funny."

I raised a brow, but left it at that. "Get back to the kitchen, B/n. I'll get orders."

"Thanks." And he darted back into the kitchen.

I sighed. "Orders?"

Tendou smirked. "Semisemi will have you... to go."

Semi whipped around to face him. "Tendou!"

"Tendou, if you're gonna order for him, at least order something that's actually on the menu." I kept a somewhat playful, somewhat serious attitude.

Semi looked at me, his face slightly pink. "Don't play along."

"Then order?"

He smirked. "Are you sure you're not on the menu?"

"Do you wanna perform?"

"Fine fine."

"Don't play along." I mocked him

He rolled his eyes playfully. "Do you wanna go try writing songs by yourself?"

I just looked at him, then to his team. I turned around and grabbed the closest waitress. "Yo, take care of this table for me. I got other things to do."

"Ok?"

I grabbed Semi's arm and pulled him out of his seat. "I'll be forcing him to work now. See ya!"

The guys said their quick farewells before I pulled Semi all the way to my changing room, damn near pushing him onto the couch.

He stared with wide eyes. "What? What was that for, Y/n?!"

I sat down next to him, my guitar on the ground in front of me and my songwriting book in hand. "We seriously need to write song together. I'm gonna quickly text B/n to just send our dinner here so we can eat while working."

Semi couldn't believe this, based on his facial expression. "You pulled me all the way here... just to make me help you write songs?!"

"Love songs."
