Our weekend performances and rehearsals went well. And now, it was the time we'd tell some of the guys on the volleyball team about our relationship.

I had previously texted Tetsu and Kenken about my relationship with Eita, which they approved of. I also explained the situation with my parents and they promised to not say a word to anyone.

I waited for Eita to come back to my changing room with the guys. I got bored and ended up laying on my couch, slowly staring to doze off.

I felt something warm on my face, a very soft and familiar voice spoke to me. "Wake up, love. I finally got the guys here."

I opened my eyes and saw Eita, causing me to smile. "This is the best way to wake up." I had whispered.

He smiled. "I'll do it more often, then." He stood up and let me see the guys he brought: Ushijima, Tendou, Shirabu, and Tomu.

Shirabu looked slightly irritated. "What did you want, Semi?"

My boyfriend smiled, helping me sit up. "I just wanted to show you something."

The guys shared a confused look. "What?"

"My girlfriend." He motioned to me.

I rubbed my eyes, still trying to wake up. I smiled and waved at the guys once Eita called me his girlfriend.

The guys stood shocked. Then Tomu cheered. "Congratulations!"

"Thanks." We said together.

Thought confused at first, the guys were happy to learn of our relationship. They had also promised to keep it a secret, due to my parents' recent behavior.

Shirabu and Tendou told everything about how Eita felt and acted starting from the moment he first saw and heard me perform. He got embarrassed and kept trying to make the two shut up, meanwhile I was laughing at how whipped he'd always been for me.

In the end I did assure him that it was alright and that I found it adorable, which led him to being slightly more embarrassed. I had to make sure he'd stop freaking out about it somehow, though.

So, once it was just the two of us, I climbed in his lap and kissed him. I kept telling him I love him and that what I learned would never change how I feel about him. He did accept this, holding me close and tightly while starting to kiss me back and of course repeating "I love you" into my ears.

Nothing made us happier. This was what we wanted. It's all we could ever want.

We kept writing and performing together, when we both had that free time. But usually Eita would be busy with all of his other commitments, leaving me to continue working and doing solo performances. It didn't bother me, though.

Even though I grew used to performing with Eita, I still enjoyed performing my solo songs quite a bit. It gave me a bit more freedom and I didn't need anyone else to help me convey the feelings. It was just me and my guitar, which people still loved to no end.

While performing onstage, I'd often think about Eita and the song I wrote for him. He sometimes begs for me to sing it to him some more. And I always give in... because it's the love of my life.

"L/n Y/n?"

I turned to face whoever called my name. "Yes? That's me. Who are you?"

A man wearing a suit and sunglasses strode right up to me, my brother slightly behind him. "Y/n, this man saw one of your performances."

The man nodded. "Koshiba Haruto." He pulled a business card from his jacket and handed it to me. "Our label has seen and heard your performances here. We all love your act. We hope you consider signing on with us."

I smiled.  Eita will be happy that people have recognized us. "And Eita...?"

Koshiba looked at me. "Who?"

I frowned. "The boy I sing duets with: Semi Eita. What about him?"

Koshiba shook his head. "We've never heard him. We only came while it was only you onstage. Sorry."

I looked at the ground, thinking, then I looked back up at this man. "Come back with your bosses this weekend. Eita will be here and you'll be able to hear our duet."

"Sure, we can make time for it since it's important to you." He took his leave shortly after.

A few hours later, Eita came in. He walked into my changing room. "Hey love! Sorry I'm late."

"You're actually on time, Eita. Oh, clear your schedule this weekend."

"Ok. Why?" He sat on the couch as I put finishing touches to my hair and makeup.

"This guy from a record label came in to scout me. They hadn't seen your performance yet, so I asked them to come in this weekend to hear you." I handed him the card.

"Oh, damn! This is big!"

"Uh-huh." I just stared at him as his eyes sparkled from seeing the card.

He directed his attention at me. "Even if they don't offer me anything, you shouldn't pass this opportunity up. This could be a once in a lifetime kinda thing."

"That's fine with you?"

"Of course. I saw and heard you when you were still solo act. And, yeah, we perform duets often, but don't let me be the reason why you don't take such a big opportunity. Ok? Can you promise me?"

I chuckled. "I promise that I'll accept this offer regardless, whether you get one or not."

"Good." He bent down to kiss me. "Have a performance?"

"Yeah? You too tired to sing?"

"Yeah.... Is it cool if I rest in here while you're onstage?"

I led him to the couch and kissed his forehead once he was sitting. "Please rest. Don't overwork yourself."

He nodded, laying down. "Ok. I'll be here when you're done, love. I love you."

"I love you too.

"Don't be nervous, Eita."

"What if I don't do good? What if I drag you down? What if these guys decide to make sure I never sing with you again?"

"Calm down." I'm getting that feeling of déjà vú. "Why does this scene feel familiar?"

He stopped and thought about it, chuckling. "Just like the first time we performed as a duo."

I giggled. "Yeah. Why do you seem like you've gotten even worse about that?"

He shut me up with a kiss. "Maybe cuz this could be more serious."

"True. Ready to sing our hearts out?" I held my hand out to him.

He smiled, nodding and taking hold of my hand. "Always... as long as it's with you, love."
