I put away the radio back to wear it hands off my waistband. my eyes took another  glance at the shattered window.

I don't want to believe it but the evidence is there.

(Y/n)- "Leon" she whispers my name to grab my attention.

Right. Worry about this later.

I exit out the bedroom following the rest of the house. she sticks close as we head down to the first floor, I stopped at the last step hearing some shuffling nearby. There was a door beside the stairs, it looked secluded and far from the rest of the rooms. A half bathroom most likely. (Y/n) waits near the bottom steps with her hand resting on the railing, I walk towards the door pushing it open hearing it creak as I do.

Inside the room was a man with his back turned to me, in front of him was a dirty old urinal-- whoops.

(Leon)-" Sorry to interrupt." He makes a groan sound turns around, before he can pull out a weapon of any sort, I aim my handgun sight and pulled the trigger. He drops to the ground bubbling and soaking into the floor. I'm going to be seeing a lot of bodies sinking to the ground, I don't know if I want to get use to seeing that.

I exit the bathroom seeing (Y/n) sitting at the bottom step waiting for me.

(Y/n)-"Do I want to know?"

(Leon)-" You might not want to use it in there." Other than the lake of a toilet seat, It's disgustingly filthy with a lingering smell.

(Y/n)-"I'll just hold it.." she lightly chuckles and stands up proceeding to follow me inside the house. everything inside looks fairly standard, a large dining table in the middle of the room with white ceramic plates matching the chair placements. Looks like the people in this house eat like normal humans.

(Y/n) roams the house noticing its layout, she's looking at as if she's in the market looking for a home. Reading into her background I given she lives in a small town with a roommate, dropped out of college and works part time as a cashier at the local grocery store.  Visiting Ashley was a vacation turned for the worst. She shouldn't even be here.

(Leon)-"Looking for a new place?"

(Y/n)-"Anywhere than my shitty apartment." She slides a finger on the rim of a wooden chair and scopes around the room.

(Leon)-"Home is a good start."

(Y/n)-"I doubt that.." she utters under her breath.

What does she mean by that?

She walks towards the back of the house placing her hand on the door, my right hand extends out stopping her in her tracks

She walks towards the back of the house placing her hand on the door, my right hand extends out stopping her in her tracks. I equip the rifle in my hands reloading it for the next use, I push open the door using my shoulder and aim towards the path ahead, there were three villagers waiting for us. They haven't spotted us just yet, One of them had a chainsaw. I look into the scope and lined up the shot. I pulled the trigger back and two of the three have fallen.
