The rain continues to pour on the roof of the cabin, sounding like rapid footsteps stepping all over. Probably wait a minute or two to give it some time to let it all out. I lean against the entrance Luis just walked out of, what's a man like him doing in a place like this?

I look to the ground seeing it soaked and forming into mud, not looking forward to walking in it but I'll take mud than swimming in freezing waters. I look straight ahead seeing the rain isn't going to let up in two minutes. We can't stay in this cabin any longer, the villagers could turn back around and attack. I equip my handgun leaning against the doorway waiting for the girls to settle. (Y/n) makes small talk with Ashley, rubbing her shoulders consoling her.

(Leon)- "Ready to head out?"

(Y/n)-"Yeah. It's just .. we'd like to stay out of the rain." She pouts.

So would I but we don't have a choice.

(Leon)- "Once we get to the extraction point, you'll be nice and warm at home before you know it."

But I won't be.

I'll be getting a full decontamination inspection and filling out paperwork. Deacon might end up following me around asking me about her. That's what I'm not looking forward to. Might as well just hand her Deacon's note and he'll be out of my hair.

(Y/n)-"We're ready."

(Leon)-"Lets go." The rain didn't lighten, I think it got heavier. Goosebumps rise up and down my arms feeling shivers throughout my body. It'll pass. Hopefully we'll pass through some place warm.

Outside the cabin just to the left of us is the Merchant, his blue flame made it known. I might have some things to sell to him, doesn't do me any good keeping them in my pockets.

(Merchant)-" Welcome...What're ya buyin?" He opens his coat as soon as I am face to face with him. Ashley and (Y/n) footsteps wander around, walking into a small shed to shield themselves from the rain. I make another upgrade to my weapons giving him the money needed to be done, I stopped feeling the rain falling and replaced by thunder claps in the distance. The Merchant returns my weapons and I put them away.

(Y/n)-"Leon. Look at this." I turn around seeing (Y/n) and Ashley and in her hand was a brown paper note. I take the paper from her hands and read through seeing there are two routes if we were to continue going this way.

A handful of Ganados or El Gigante.

I don't know which one is worse.

I don't know how this we'll lay out, if we go towards the Ganados I'll have my hands full trying to protect them and myself. If we go towards the giant, well... one wrong move and we're all scum underneath its foot. I walk to inside a wooden area with exposed cogs and a lever that will turn left or right that will lead us to our next location.
