Another short chapter in one day to make up for the last short chapter-also I would like to make it clear I got the last chapter's layout mostly from a friend who writes for fun and doesn't post their stuff nor would they like credit :) So no credit to them but the knowledge that they wrote it I suppose-anyways enjoy!

"(y/n), (Y/N)! GET UP," I opened my eyes to see Kate trying to shake me awake.

"Good morning to you as well.." I groaned as I sat up. I heard something in the kitchen, it sounded muffled but it had to be shouting to hear it with the door closed. I looked at Katie silently, seeing her eyes widen made me worry. I threw on a t-shirt that had been on the floor next to the bed and walked slowly towards the door. I heard the footsteps outside come closer, and watched as the doorknob shook. I raised my arms, as if that would do anything, and glanced back at Katie on the bed, still covered by the blanket. The chair had already fallen from the doorknob's ragged movement, and I could hear the outsider picking the lock. "Who's the-" the door burst open and revealed a man who looked ready to pass out, drenched in rain and panting.

"Clint!-" I heard Kate shout from the bed behind me.

"Don't 'Clint!' me!" Clint mocked Kate's shout as he walked into the room, still breaking heavily. "You two-" he turned towards me and then back to Kate, "left me! To fight-" he took another breath, "two black widow assassins. Black fucking widow assassins! One being my ex-best friend-" he paused for another moment, still trying to catch his breath. "The other being a raging bitch," he looked at me, glaring, and then at Kate, looking apathetic rather than pissed.

"Hey-well, at least you don't look hurt-" I try to mitigate his anger.

"(Y/N), I don't want to hear it from you. -And what were you two doing here that was so important you had to leave m-" he looked back at Katie on the bed and cut himself off. I swallowed as he slowly turned back to look at me with his eyes closed.

"Clint, I can explain-don't be mad at Katie, it was-"

"Oh (Y/ N), trust me, I know," he took a deep breath, seeming calm. I looked back at Kate, accidentally catching Clint's gaze as he opened his eyes. I immediately looked down at the ground. "(Y/N)... let me get this straight. First, you got us all into a situation with two black widows-especially me-because you had an interest in a redhead. Second, you abandon me when I came to save you. Third, you fuck Kate. Did I miss anything?" Tears started to form in my eyes as I tried to choke up the words. He was right, I had caused all of this. It was all my fault. "Hm, (Y/N)? Did I?" Clint raised his voice in reply to my silence.

"No, Clint. I'm sorry." I can't bring myself to look at him.

"No, WHO? I'm sorry, I don't think I heard you,"

"No, sir, I'm sorry," I hadn't called him sir since we had first met, 5 years ago.

"That's what I thought. Be happy it's just back to sir and not me kicking you out. Do I make myself clear, (Y/N)?"

"Yes, sir," I still had tears in my eyes, but I was trying to blink them away now.

"Clint-" Kate finally spoke up.

"Katie, I don't want to hear your side of the story, just get dressed and leave (Y/N)'s room." With that, Clint left the room, slamming the door.

"(Y/N)-" Kate grabbed a pair of shorts, putting them on and getting up out of bed.

"No, he's right Kate, you should go," I couldn't bring myself to make eye contact, so I just walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind me.
