I cracked open Kate's door, peering through to see if Kate was still awake. Fast asleep. I kicked the door open the rest of the way and flicked on the lights.

"Good morning, Katherine! Time for a mission," I say, trying to imitate Clint's voice.

"Dude.. what the hell.." Kate rubs her eyes before shading them from the hallway light with her other hand.

"We're going out, Katie"

"It's 1 in the morning, four eyes," I walk over to her and sit her up, getting both her attention and a dirty look.

"Get dressed, your majesty-and don't try to argue, I'll just come back in with cold water like I used to," I say, laughing and walking out of the room. I almost swear I hear Kate mutter something before I shut the door- "What was that, Katie?"

"Nothing." she fakes a smile and gets up. "Are you gonna close the door? I have to get changed, perv." I raise my eyebrows and shut the door, laughing softly.

"Katie let's go!" I open the door as I hear footsteps come up the hallway.

"I'm already doing something I don't want to do, the least you could do is not rush me," she snipes, buttoning up her checkered knee-length jacket. Noticing the smug look on my face she met my eyes and replied, "What? It's New York City in the winter, it's going to be freezing."

"Well I'd rather freeze to death than wear that stupid jacket" I opened the door and let her through first, closing it behind us and following her to the elevator. Before the elevator doors could even close, Kate began again.

"So, where exactly are you taking me?" she looked out the elevator window mindlessly.

"I'll tell you once we're outside." I stand on my tiptoes behind her, trying to see the falling snow coat the city.

"Is that so I can't escape?"

"Maybe."
