Life is inevitable...but so are dreams. In my beliefs, dreams are the bound or portal of the human dimension to the mystic wonders of our mind, we never know. Each and every day I feel as if something was not right, but I knew a part of this was the witch, that WITCH...if it takes to kill her to stop all the mess she made, I will.

Another day of barely any sleep. It's hard honestly, sometimes I would scream, my head would ring with voices that were not mine...but it's fair, now I know how Xavier felt, but the thing is, why would the witch go for him, what crossed their paths before? and mostly, wasn't the witch exiled hundreds of years ago?
I drank warm tea in an attempt to calm my nerves. Usually, I'd only have two or three hours of sleep, the longest was four, and it was not enough for the training I had ahead on the day, but my power kept me working...thankfully. If this was powerless me, I would have passed out right on the spot.
I sat on the armchair, waiting for dawn to finish, the sun to rise. I could not get the image of Xavier crying out of my mind, ever since yesterday it was all I could think of, as well as his smiling face, basically everything that happened yesterday. I wanted to ask questions about his powers, how he became a dragon bender, but I figured now was not the right time to ask.
I played with the small light illuminating in my hands as I drank my tea. Today I was more determined to ace my training with Estiana, and hopefully in combat as well. As I played with the illuminating light I suddenly thought of something. One of the forbidden techniques, the Chaital. I read about it in one of the books I checked in the library, it was interesting, maybe I should ask Estiana about it.
After I finished my tea that had no help for my sleep, I made my way to the window. Winter would be ending soon, and the skies would be replaced with the shining sun. I looked out the window, observing the little snow left to fall. Hysteria still hasn't replied to any of my letters, each day my worry grew for her. As I was about to close the curtains I had opened, I heard clicking sounds coming from outside, I cautiously opened the curtains only to reveal a white owl standing on the golden window frame outside. Its feathers were white as the snow, the edges ash like colors, but something peculiar about the owl caught my attention. Its eyes were pale white, was it blind? I had never seen an owl with such eye color, "We're both odd now are we?" I said as I placed my hand on the window, the owl pecked the window once again. I chuckled as I realized I was talking to an owl, "Stay safe pretty little thing," I said before closing the curtains.

The sunrise came faster than I expected, now I have a whole day to go through. I went into the bathroom to prep my bath as I usually do, after that, I fixed my bed as I waited for Laika to arrive.
I turned the faucet off before a knock erupted from the door. I made my way to the doorknob, but before I opened it I need to make sure it was the person I expected it to be. "Who is it?" I asked as I held the doorknob tightly. "Vi, it's Laika..." her soft voice yet. I slowly opened the door, but I saw her familiar raven hair I sighed in relief before going in for a warm hug.
"I'm so sorry, I tried to stop him yesterday but he tied me up," she said as we released from the hug. "He what?!" I said in shock, just now receiving this information.
Laika entered the room before I shut the door lock, "I was on my way to you when he banged me on the head causing me to fall, he then tied me up and covered my mouth, thank galaxies Franz and Arwen found me just on time to save you," she explained. "I'm so sorry you got hurt, how's your head?" I asked, concerned for my friend. She nodded, "I'm all good now, I should be asking you, Arwen said that Haimatian almost killed you!" she exclaimed. "I'm still alive am I?" I joked just to lighten the atmosphere, "That idiot deserved to die anyway," she sighed. The thought struck me like lightning, I would be eating with Xavier for the first time ever since that moment we had in his room. "Vi? are you alright?"Laika asked, causing me to snap back to my thoughts. "Huh? yeah, I'm fine, just...sleepy," I lied.
