The sound of his name coming out of my mouth felt like lightning had struck my heart, "Xavier?" I said with a shaky voice. The dragon that stood before me whimpered in pain as tears fell from its emerald green eyes. "It is you..." the dragon whimpered once again. "Vi, is that the king?" Silas asked beside me, I could only nod. I could feel his pain, restrain... he was trying his best to fight the Morfran of the witch, and it crushed me to witness this, "Don't do anything to him unless I say so," I left Silas' side, the dome of light that once served as a shield was gone. I walked closer and closer to Xavier, who was roaring and whimpering at the same time, and as I did, tears fell from my honeydew eyes.
"Let me in," I slowly placed the palm of my hand on its crimson red scales, "Please," I softly pleaded as I rest my forehead on his scales, embracing the warm presence I so longed for.
My vision went dark, I stood in a dark void of nothingness, that was until I saw a figure of a man, kneeling in front of me, it looked as if he was wrapped in chains though it could not be seen, I could feel the resistance locking his body. "Xavier," I fell on my knees as I caressed his cheeks drenched in tears, his dark eyes met mine, and it killed me to see how much pain he was in...
"I-I'm sorry...I tried," Xavier sobbed, I brought my other hand to his face, cuffing the beauty in front of me, "No, I'm sorry for not being there for you...Xavier, I will come to the palace with you and end this darkness, I just need you to stay..." I pleaded as tears fell from my eyes.
"I had found my purpose, and I will fulfill it," I admired his face one last time before planting a warm kiss on his forehead. I got back to my current body before I parted myself from his red scales and turned to Silas, "I have to go with him, he's my only way back to the palace, and to stop the witch from completely devouring this world with darkness," Silas shook his head, "No. We have to go with him," he gave me a reassuring nod.
I smiled warmly at Silas--He knew his fate, and I am yet to find mine. We boarded Xavier's back before he flew into the sky dimly lit by moonlight. I knew what I had to do, and I must... Hysteria always said, as long as I fought for what I loved, nothing would be able to defeat me, for love was not the greatest power a human could possess, but it was the will to fight for what they love.

The city lights gleamed below us like fireflies, and up ahead was the palace where now the witch sits, waiting for my arrival to take my last breath in this world, but I will not allow her...never.
Xavier roughly landed at the gate front of the familiar golden gates of his palace, the gates I had once seen the first time I entered these golden gates of class. Just when Silas and I got off Xavier, a paining ringing echoed in my head, Finally... you're here, I rubbed my hands on my head as the ringing stopped, Suddenly a whole unit of assassins came marching out the doors, feet moving in unison, it was clear they were all under her control... Xavier growled lowly behind us before he flapped his red wings, disappearing into the night sky. I looked at him as he flew away, his pain made me vulnerable; this was what he warned me about, his true form, he once said, but I do not believe it is, for I believe his true self was the man I had been within the palace, the man I had held in my arms so warmly, the man who loved summer, the man who had a starry night as eyes, that when you look at them, would feel like a dark hole pulling you into his warmth. He is the man whom I know is capable to love and has a heart.
The assassins surrounded us both as they all held their arsenic blades in one hand. "You don't have to do this, clearly I won't fight my way out as I chose to come here," I said, knowing the witch could hear me. An evil chuckle echoed in my head, Fool! do you think I'm stupid enough to believe that you won't try and end me? "Your stupid enough to think I can't," I spat, I felt an anger urge in me as my fist clenched to the point my knuckles had gone white, my jaw locked hard. Grab the boy I heard her say, I looked at Silas "Go with them, don't resist, you're safer when further away from her," I referred to the witch, "But your not," he said. I shook my head, "Go," three assassins took Silas away from me. "Don't you dare hurt him," I threatened, the witch laughed maniacally once again, He has no purpose for me, but you do,
