"What's taking them so long?" Noelle asked.
"Beats me. You were the one who told me they'd come, Lady Noelle." Finral said.
"Well it's called making an assumption. Hmph!" Noelle flicked her ponytail to hide her embarrassment.
"Wh-what if s-something h-happened to them?" Grey asked shyly.
"It's possible. Those idiots are very capable of getting themselves caught in their own strings. But if they said they're going to come to eat, then they will unless something's holding them back." Gauche pointed out.
"I really hope they're okay..." Asta said quietly (for once).
"Should we look for them?" Charmy asked.
"I think we should wait at least a few more minutes." Vanessa said. "I have a feeling something will happen before then..."

As Magna was looking around, he was using his sixth sense. He decided to wait a few seconds until he heard the floor creaking behind him. He decided to act quickly, turned around as fast as he could and held Clovis's arm, as it was frozen mid-air as a result. In Clovis's hand, was a knife. "G-gotcha'..." Magna said with a pant.
"What...? How did you...?" Clovis asked.
"The mirror," Magna used his free hand to point at the mirror that was glaring behind Clovis, and Clovis turned his head to look at it. "I could see the knife in your hands reflecting off of it. Didn't think about that, did ya'?"
"I..."
"Flame Magic: Flame Rope Solid Binding Formation." At Magna's words, flames shaped like ropes binded Clovis so he couldn't move, his knife fell onto the floor. Magna walked towards him. "That was smart, I have to admit." He breathed hard. "The whole thing. It's like you took days to plan it or something. It was wicked cool. But I'll tell you one thing..." An image of Luck flashed into Magna's mind, causing his voice to be filled with sorrow. "...no one can get in the way of a friendship. Even with a genius plan, such as yours."
Clovis looked at him with confusion. "But... Luck probably hates you now, so there's no crawling back to him after everything you said!"
"Maybe he won't forgive me. Maybe he took what I said to heart. Oh, of course that idiot took it to heart. I know him more than anyone. But there's still hope."
"But there's one thing..." Clovis smirked. "...Luck isn't anywhere to be found."
"WHAT?!" Magna grabbed him by the shirt. "DO YOU WANT ME TO BELIEVE THAT FROM YOUR DIRTY-ASS MOUTH?!"
And with that, the rest of the Black Bulls Squad appeared. They all watched in a mix of confusion, worry, and horror.
"It's true." Clovis said proudly.
"WHAT DID YOU DO WITH HIM, HUH?!"
"I did nothing."
"SURE, MR. GENIUS PLAN DID NOTHING TO THE GUY HE WAS HARMING!!!" Magna yelled at him ironically. "JUST TELL ME, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO LUCK?!" His voice calmed down and sounded a mix of hurt, pain, and worry. "Please,"
"He might be dead, but he might be alive." Clovis slightly shrugged, still not able to move much due to Magna's binding spell.
Magna stepped back. "Where is he?! Give me a straight answer!"
The rest of the Bulls brought out their grimoires, looking ready to fight. "We'll kill you if you don't tell us!" Gauche said as soon as everyone got an idea as to what was going on.
"No one hurts a fellow Black Bull! La!" Charmy said.
"Tell us where he is now." Vanessa said as she grew serious.
With Nero flying beside him, Asta brought out one of his anti-magic swords and pointed it at Clovis. "Tell us or you'll get it!"
Clovis looked a little intimidated that everyone seemed to gang up on him. "Fine, fine. Since I'd rather not die over a trivial matter. But like I said, he might be dea–"
"GET TO THE POINT!" Magna interrupted.
"He's in a room in the Base." Clovis admitted with a sigh.
"What room?"
"I don't know. I literally just put him in the first room I came across. But one thing: the door that he's on the other side of is locked."
"You locked him in a room?!" Magna asked. The then lowered his voice with a sigh. "I can't believe that idiot was right about you... I feel so stupid now." He slowly facepalmed. He turned to the rest of the Bulls. "We should all go looking for him. Try opening every room door until we find where he is."
"Sure, mohawked delinquent." Noelle smirked.
"Can you please, for the love of the Clover Kingdom, stop calling me that?! Especially at a time like this!" Magna snapped at her.
"Alright," She rolled her eyes.
Magna walked out of his room. "Let's... start looking."
The rest of the Bulls followed and went to split up to look for the room Luck's in. Vanessa was the last one to leave, after she stared menacingly into Clovis's eyes.
"Luck! Where are you?" Magna called out, but received no answer. He began to worry more. The other Black Bulls were calling out for Luck as well.
Magna was pretty sure that he had opened almost every door. Which door had he missed? His eyes then laid on a door at the end of the hall. Could he be in there? He didn't recall checking that room. He slowly walked towards it. Vanessa, who noticed him, began following him. "I think checking in there is a smart decision."
"Mhm." Magna replied dismissively as he held the doorknob and tried turning it. "Ah, shit! It's locked and from the inside! Dang, he's smart. If Luck can't open the door from the inside, then that means there's something preventing him from getting to the door. So neither side can open it."
"Hey, virgin delinquent–" Vanessa began.
"I'm no delinquent!" Magna snapped back.
Vanessa ignored his sharp reply. "Do you wanna hear something crazy?" She smirked.
