Shinji: I highly doubt that.
Shinji is walking on a bridge to make his way to school while whistling Steamboat Bill. Then, Asuka walks up behind Shinji.
Asuka: Guten Morgen, Shinji.
Shinji: Good morning to you too, Asuka.
Asuka: You look happy today. Well, guess what? I'm the new popular pilot here at school, so there no room for you, Thrid Child.
Shinji: It's not about popularity, Asuka. It's about saving the people from the angels.
Asuka: I know that. So, where is she?
Shinji: If you're talking about Rei Ayanami, well she's over there. If you're planning to be friends with her, its a bit complicated than you think.
Asuka: Oh you're so... idiotic, I am a professional pilot; of course she want to be friends with me. Watch me.
Asuka goes down the escalator and walks to Rei who is reading a book while sitting on bench. Asuka's shadow covers her book, so Rei looks at her, and many of Asuka's followers are watching her.
Asuka: Hi, you must be the first child, Rei Ayanami, the pilot of the prototype, I'm Asuka. Asuka Langley Soryu, let's be friends.
Rei: And why should I?
Asuka: Because it would be practical.
Rei: I'll be friends with you if I am ordered to.
Asuka: Ugh, what a freakzoid.
Asuka left as Shinji sits down next to his sister.
Shinji: Don't worry about her, I'm sure you'll get along with her in the future.
Rei: You think so?
Shinji: I know so.
Time Skip to NERV.
Shinji, Rei, and Asuka are inside of Test Plugs to have their sync test. With Shinji's being at 100%, And Rei and Asuka are around 70%.
Misato: You're doing great, Shinji.
Shinji: Thanks, Misato.
Asuka got jealous and tries to focus more to pass Shinji's score, but her sync ratio didn't went any higher.
Time skip to the ocean. A angel named Israfel is swimming to Japan to find what they are looking for.
Misato soon takes Shinji and Asuka to NERV to be suit up, and to pilot their Eva units. They got inside of their Eva units, and they are being carried by aircrafts to transport them to the sea side.
Asuka opens a comms screen to Unit-01.
Asuka: Don't get in my way, Third Child, this is my grand debut in Japan.
Shinji closes the comm screen and rolls his eyes.
Asuka: He cut me up? How dare him!?
Soon, the Eva's made it to the sea side and waited for the threat. Unit-01 has a Pallet Rifle, while Unit-02 has a Sonic Glaive.
Makoto: Blue pattern closing in.
They waited and the Angel raised from the water.
Asuka: Let me show you how its done, Thrid Child!
