dear jen,

a freshman dropped all his books in the corridor today because a junior wasn't looking where she was going. she said sorry and she giggled with her friends a bit, but then she walked off, leaving him kneeling on the floor surrounded by textbooks.

i helped him pick the books up, because i know what it's like to be a freshman and have no one notice you.
