Dear diary
It was my mom's birthday last night. There was cake. Lots of it. The chocolaty goodness tempted me and I gave in without a fight. Slice after slice I consumed.
One of my mom's friends watched me the entire time, looking completely disgusted. Just by looking at her you could see that she was a rich lady. Who else would be able to afford a necklace of pearls and diamonds? She was skinny too, model skinny. She probably wasn't used to being in the same room as a fat whale who could finish an entire cake by herself. She probably has never had even a crumb of cake.
The disgusted look she wore has become familiar to me over the past 2 years. If I saw myself I'd be disgusted too. Who wouldn't?
