Dandelion and Elina looked at each other, stood up from where they were sitting and began walking towards the thumping sound to investigate.
Dandelion decided to not fly and walk with Elina hidden underneath the giant leaves. As they grew closer to the thumping sound they began to hear voices. They ripped a giant leaf off its stem beside them and used it to take cover, Dandelion dimmed the glow on her wings and peaked in the corner. She gasped, leaving Elina curious about what she saw and decided to peek in the corner as well.
“Dany are those Giants???” Elina said in a whisper
Dandelion gulped “Yeah Elina those are Giants, wonder what they're doing here so close to our border” Dandelion ducks back behind the giant tree and starts thinking deeply. Elina gives Dandelion a questioning look.
“Why is it such a big deal Dany?”
Dandelion looks back at Elina and smiled “I always seem to forget you don’t know any of this stuffs” Elina smiled
“Okay so here’s the thing, there are areas where creatures are allowed to go and not allowed to go without special permission from the guardians. Giants are allowed to go to the Magic Meadows but, with permission of the guardian and only 2 or 3 of them are allowed, not in groups just like this. Topaz would also inform us if we were getting any visits from them,so it's strange.”
Dandelion starts thinking about it more and the ever curious Elina decides to peek outside again to see more of the Giants. They looked huge, really beating those drawings in her book. She started to look the Giant up and down, really making this a moment to remember, oh how she wished Dandelion bought her flutter cam with her. Elina starts looking at the Giants clothing this time seeing a small silhouette alongside the giants, she squints a bit more to get a better look. As the clouds clear above the sky and the moonlight illuminating more light in the dark area Elina sees more silhouettes behind the giants, with the help of the moon the figures start to become more clear,and Elina sees “huh just a fairy?? wait Fairies?!”
Dandelion looks back at Elina
“Fairies???”
Elina looks at Dandelion and points her at the Fairies flying with the giants.
“See Dany they're right there near the giants waist”
Dandelion peeks a little and looks at the direction Elina was pointing, Dandelion squints a bit and gasps, she sees fairies flying and walking around alongside the giants. Now this is bad cause it would only mean one thing: Invasion! she pulls Elina back behind the leaf and quietly yet sternly says
“Elina I need you to stay put behind this leaf”
Dandelion starts to leave but gets pulled back into the leaf by Elina
“Where do you think your going” Elina says in a whisper
“I’m going to check it out now if you excuse me” Dandelion tries to leave but gets pulled back again by Elina.
“Check it out?? Are you crazy they're gonna kill you if they see you stalking them.”
“I know but what if they’re doing what I think they're doing then…. ??”
Dandelion looks away
“Well then I’m coming with you”
Dandelion sighed, knowing on how stubborn Elina is, she looked back at her Best Friend, she knows she can handle herself she just didn’t want her to get hurt so she made a plan.
“Okay i’ll let you come with me, but first can you touch the big branch over there”
Elina looked at Dandelion confused but still followed Dandelion's instruction, as soon as Elina’s hand touched the branch Dandelion cast a spell which glued Elina’s hand into the branch.
“Wait what?!?” Elina yelled quitely
“Sorry Elina” Dandelion starts to leave Elina behind the leaf
“Dandelion Bright you unglue me this instant —- Hey!” Elina kept on yelling quietly as Dandelion disappeared in the darkness.
Dandelion creeped behind the large plants and started hearing a conversation being made between the two unknown fairies, she watched them by the bushes and listened intently.
“Hey hey hey now are we sure that Topaz isn't in there?”
The other fairy rolled his eyes and told the other guy
“Yes I’m sure, that fungus Maximus guy told us”
“Are you sure we can trust him I mean he is a fungus, they are known to be uhh… dishonest”
The other fairy thought about it more then sighed
“Well we can’t really argue with the boss now can we?”
Dandelion paled and decides to back up away from them slowly while listening to the conversation
“ Besides we have these giants with us invading the magic meadows will be as easy as taking candy from a baby”
“Ugh how many times do I have to tell you man we are not—”
A branch snapped below Dandelion’s feet
“Shoot” Dandelion swore quietly hoping the fairies didn’t hear it, and oh boy she was wrong. The fairies heads immediately snapped to the bushes where Dandelion was hiding
“Hey who’s there!!”
The other fairies with them started to go to the commotion being made. Dandelion held her breath as she saw more people coming towards her
“Hey! What's all the commotion here?!”
this time a female voice spoke
“Well you see Mindy, me and Felix were having a conversation then all of a sudden we heard a sound behind the bushes.”
“Well have you guys checked it out??
“Uhhh nooo…. I mean not yet!”
“UGH!! DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF!!”
The female fairy starts to go closer and closer to Dandelion, Dandelion's breath hitched as she closed her eyes waiting to be found. The female fairy approached the bush while the rest of them move closer and closer, the female fairy moves the leaves away to see
“Balalalaalalllaaaahhhhhh!!!!!”
All of the fairies were shocked, accidentally startling the giants. The female fairy regained her composure and sighed
“Don’t worry guys it’s just a puffball *tsk* dumb creature”
All of them started going back to what they were doing before they were interrupted, Dandelion looks up to see Bibbless flying in the air
“Bibbles!” Dandelion yelled quietly
“Olah Dany poof apido bibble graaaaghhh poof poofs”
Dandelion gave Bibbles an angry look “Bibbles what were you thinking, do you have any idea how dangerous that was?!”
Bibbles then gave Dandelion a disappointed look “So wha Dany poof do is nooth bad?” and raised his eyebrow.
Dandelion sighed “Okay fine it was dangerous” Bibbles raised BOTH of his eyebrows now “Okay okay fine it was SUPER DANGEROUS and *sigh* I’m sorry” Bibble smiled and hugged Dandelion.
Dandelion was enjoying the moment when she sees something moving behind the giant leaf a few meters in front of her, she gently pushed Bibbles away from their hug and squinted at the moving figure. Moments pass and Dandelion sees a familiar Pink dress
“Elina??”
The figure peeked its head out and reveals a Blonde hair put up into a ponytail and started following the Fairy named ‘Mindy’
“Blonde hair (check) Pink dress (check) Signature hairstyle of my Bestfriend who I glued to a boulder (check) “
Dandelion sighed heavily, turned around looked at Bibbles and smiled
“Bibbles, did you know anything about this WHOLE Elina escaping and is now following the “maybe leader” of the group underneath the giant's situation??”
Bibble’s backed away slowly and starts stuttering while explaining, Bibble then gave her and Elina’s bag and Dandelion sighed
“I should have known she would find a way out *sigh* let's go Bibbles”
