Inside Cerise Lab, a live news report was pulled up on the holographic pillar. Ash stood in the holo-room with Professor Cerise while Goh leaned his back on the railing, watching with them, his hands in his sweater pockets.

"We're joined now, right here in the harbor, by a ship captain who was actually saved by a Dragonite!" said the newscaster, a professionally-dressed woman standing beside a man with a white handkerchief over his hair. "So let's hear what he has to say." She held her microphone over to the captain. "You've been through a lot!"

"I've heard about this," Goh remarked a bit quietly. "how Dragonite are known to rescue people in danger."

"Dragonite?" Ash chimed. "I'd love to see one!" Professor Cerise seemed sheepish.

"That may not even be possible," said the purple-haired Professor reluctantly. Ash turned to him.

"Huh? Why not?" he inquired.

"I'll tell you why not!" said Ren, adjusting the square glasses on his nose. He pulled up a picture of the evolution chain of Dragonite. "First, a Dratini has to evolve into a Dragonair before it evolved into a Dragonite!" he explained. "In spite of its popularity as a Pokémon , few sightings have ever been made in the wild."

"Whoa! Amazing!" Ash said. Chrysa was the next to speak.

"We're still not sure of its natural habitat," she said.

"Though there are rumors of an island that's inhabited by only Dragonite," the Professor put in. Ash leaned in, causing Professor Cerise to step backward.

"Yeah? An island full of Dragonite?!" Ash exclaimed excitedly.

"So they say," Professor Cerise confirmed quite loudly, scratching the back of his head. Goh approached next, holding up his RotomPhone.

"About that rumor...," he said, and he showed them the map on his phone. "Look! I inputted all sighting data from the past few years," he added as his research partner and the professor leaned in to see his phone. "This is the result."

"It looks just like they're all in one area," Ash reported. Goh seemed satisfied.

"Sure seems suspicious to me," he said smugly with a smirk.

"And fascinating," added the professor, putting a hand on his chin. Ash looked up from Goh's phone.

"So? What do you say?" Ash said aloud, having silently communicated with Goh (using some sort of good-friend telepathy or something).

"Right with you!" Goh agreed. Both boys raised a fist in the air, shoulder-to-shoulder.

"It's off to Dragonite Island! Go!"
