He took me and he was going to come back. I was locked in here, stuck in complete darkness and since my eyes had finally adjusted to the little bit of light coming under the door, I'd figured out I was in some kind of closet or something. Still in the school. But where? My chest was tightening, walls closing in around me, stomach dropping. It was too much. I couldn't make a sound. He'd stuffed what he blindfolded me with in my mouth and tied it around my face, preventing me from screaming. I still tried anyway until tears were running down my cheeks.
My hands were bound behind my back and I was sitting on the cold floor, against some shelves that contained unknown objects. I was exhausted and alone and most of all, I was afraid he was going to return like he'd promised me.
I'd been in the girls' bathroom, the only one in there and I had just started washing my hands when West Haley just walked in. Before I could react, he grabbed me and put me in a headlock (memories of Jason doing that exact same thing clawed their way into my mind then). I was gasping for breath when West demanded for me to stay quiet, hand clamped over my mouth. I had nodded and he forcefully tied a blindfold over my eyes. Of course I used this opportunity to yell for help, but West was too quick. His hand covered my mouth again, smothering me, and he ordered me to walk forwards. He had muttered something under his breath and called me a few names I was still trying to forget, all while directing me down a maze of what I guessed were different halls in the school. How he avoided running into anybody with me like this, I didn't know. I guess everyone was in the gym at that time.
West had thrown me into a small room, letting me crash into a bunch of shelves behind me. I sank to the floor, still blindfolded, and went to remove the cloth or whatever it was that was over my eyes. Unfortunately, West was right there. "Don't move!" he barked. I could hear him kneel down and he grabbed both of my wrists and tugged my arms behind my back. "Don't. Move," he repeated, most likely through gritted teeth. I could just hear the shaky frustration in his voice.
He tightened something around my wrist and it bit and burned into my skin. Then I could feel West's hands untying the blindfold from my eyes and when it was removed, I was met with darkness. I didn't know what I'd thought I'd see, but I didn't expect it to be pitch black in...wherever I was. My heart knocked against my ribcage, beating in my ears. "He's going to find me," I warned the dark, knowing West was somewhere near me. "Marco was waiting for me and he's going to find me," I told him, voice wavering.
There was a breath of silence before West answered. Part of the blindfold was shoved into my mouth and he yanked the rest of it around my face, tying it tightly and causing me to gag. Tears sprung up in my eyes and I heard a rush of air as he stood up. "Keep telling yourself that," he sneered coldly. The sound of his shoes followed and I watched the door open in front of me, allowing me a quick glance of my surroundings until the door shut again and the click of the lock sealed me in the room.
For the first five minutes, I'd been determined. I had believed I could break the zip ties around my arms, but West had looped the ties around one of the poles on the shelf behind me, so it was proving to be harder than I'd thought. The next five minutes after that, I redirected my focus on getting the blindfold out of my mouth. I tried everything, I really did, but it just wasn't budging. I needed my hands to remove it and right now, my hands were useless.
I yelled and screamed at the top of my lungs for as long as I could stand, though it was muffled and I knew my voice wasn't reaching anybody. I could hear the bass of the music playing in the gym, so all I knew was I was somewhere close by, where Marco might look for me.
Until he (or anyone else if I was lucky) found me, I had no choice but to work on getting these zip ties cut somehow. Then I'd be able to take this disgusting thing out of my mouth and finally move around freely.
West had snatched my phone from me in the bathroom, before he started threatening me and forcing me into this closet, so calling anyone was out of the question. I was truly alone and West could come back any minute, but I wasn't going to let the panic take over just yet. I'd dealt with Jason's attack on me, so I knew what this situation I was in could turn into. It was familiar sadly. Jason had taken after West, had followed and worshipped him. They both played rough, that was really all they had in common.
So I had to play West's way. I had to muster up the courage and play rough too. One wrong move though, and I'd wind up dead in the next thirty minutes give or take.
