Love, Hate, Gun Shots

I felt like the world was finally coming together on the island as I slept that night and was hoping that if we were permanently stuck here that it would be this good. I had to sleep in the infirmity for the next couple of days to make sure I was okay for sure and Jason would be staying with me. I woke up to his arm draped across of me and smirked before I smelt smoke. "Fire!" I yelled and shot out of the hut as fast as I possibly could without waiting to see where it was coming from. I saw Sage's people running back into the forest and the meat shack was lit up.

"No!" I yelled as I sprinted for it and ran to to the burning wood. I got in and saw Randy and Matt trying to pull me out. Ricky ran for Jason and I shook my head as I coughed. I started handing them the meats and trying to clear out the bigger foods first. Jason was yelling for me to get out but I didn't listen and his men held him back. They knew we needed the food and that I wasn't going to listen to them anyways.

Amanda had came out and panicked when she saw me inside, showing that somewhere deep down she still cared. Crystal held her back as if she was going to run and Tiffany held Peter who held Kole who held Mina. Wood started to drop and I yelled when it almost hit me and continued on. It was harder for me to breath but I was almost done and didn't want to leave anything. Once the last fish were out I smiled, but saw the strings attached to the bottom and tried to run.

Jason noticed and fought his men before pulling my hand at the last second and having up both fall. Sages people thought I was still inside and pulled the string but frowned when they saw me and headed back. I glared at the criminals, frowned at our broken shed, and smiled as an apology to a very angry looking Jason. I was covered in ash and tried to crawl away but he glared "oh no you don't."

I whispered sorry to the guards who were now being nursed because of being punched in the face, arms, or chest very hard in Jason's attempt to get by. Tiffany giggled and Mina glared at me before I was thrown over his shoulder and brought down to the shore. He went in until we were waist deep and dropped me in. I gasped at the service and caught my breath and standing on my knees and he just glared.

Some watched and others worked on the meat shack but Jason's eyes never left me. "Stand up so I can get you cleaned up." He said and I smirked before shaking my head no. He reached for me and I ducked under the water before swimming around him and coming up to the surface. "Naomi." He warned and I giggled as he reached for me and I went under and held my breath to make him search.

When I surfaced he seemed angry and reached for me but I swam backwards away from the watching eyes and made him chase me. He got mad and dove at me, bring me under water and into his arms. Everyone lost interest and gave us space as we laughed and floated in the water, since I swam out a tiny bit. I was a bit worried of sharks but figured that they only attacked Ricky when he got far out and decided we were safe for now.

"Come here." He said and I swam over as he laughed and rubbed away the black from my skin. He then got serious and I frowned. "Stop scaring me like that Naomi, you can really get hurt. If I have to go out and hunt for a whole new stack of meats than fine, its not worth a single hair on your head." He said and I nodded. "They did that to lure me out, I love you Jason but I won't let them risk any life or more importantly your life before mine.

His arm came from under the water and he pulled me against him before he kissed me and our foreheads rested against each other. He then looked at me sadly, our foreheads still touching. "That's what scares me, I don't want too loose the one I love." He said and I looked down, I couldn't change my mind on saving my people before me even if it were for the man I think I'm in love with. He sensed that and sighed before tilting my chin up to look him in the eyes once more.

"I get that I can't change your mind, but know that I won't let you go without a fight and if my death should come out of trying to keep you with me then so be it. Whether we are really really in love or its just the island messing with our heads, know that you are everything to me and I'm never letting you go again. Sage may want to fight you, but she is going to have to go through me first because unless I'm dead, I will not let her have you."
