I wasn't sure what that guy meant about wanting our captain but I know for sure that nothing good would come from it. I was techinically the captain and with all of this going on, I need to be on high alert. Why had someone put out a hit or request for me??? The boys kept rowing and the sky got darker, making it harder for us to see where we were going.

Jason said nothing but kept an eye on me, trying not to be obvious but he was. We had lost the ship, or so we thought when we saw a boat with a light scanning the water up ahead. The boys began to row away and tried to pull against the current but then Jason recognised a logo and got jumpy. "They were pals of my dad!" he said as the light landed on us and he happily swung his arms and yelled for their help. We rowed over and they welcomed us up before giving us a look over.

Jason shook hands with the guy and he looked over at us before whispering something only loud enough for Jason to hear. He nodded his head and the guy smiled over at us before coming over with his arms wide open for a welcoming. "Welcome! I am captain Reed, and you are all welcome to stowe away on my boat under one condition. Jason looked edgy and the guy smiled. "You boys work for me and help me out a bit." he said and they nodded their heads approovingly at the mans suggestion.

He showed us three rooms and each couple went in one so it was awkward since Jason wanted a break. It was late and we were all tired so everyone went in for the night. Liz tried to bunk with me but after seeing me attacked, Matt wanted to keep her close. They had given us all new clothes and I was fine with that but for pajamas, I went with just shorts and a tank. Jason walked in with boxers on and was drying his hair before he stopped suddenly and angrily approached.

I flinched and fell backwards onto the bed. He grabbed my leg and I saw that he had seen the nail marks the guy cut into me. He looked even more mad than I had ever seen him and I couldn't help but put my hands up in defense when he shot up. He seemed shocked by my fear and quickly picked me up and put me on his lap which scared me in the process so I was tensed up. "I'll kill him." was all he said before hugging me and slowly running his fingers through my hair.

It was really weird but it soothed me and I eventually curled up against him. He pulled back soon and looked at me when I was falling asleep. I saw tears in his eyes like real pain and I was tired but realised I made a dumb remark. "So are we still on a break?" he laughed and shook his head before cupping my chin and kissing me. It was just a subtle kiss and soon after I fell alseep in his arms.

Jason's POV:

When I saw that he had hurt her, something inside of me changed and I couldnt get this hatred for everyone out of my mind. I pictured her with him and him taking her for himself and I couldn't shake the rage and the fear she had towards me because of his actions both saddened and angered me. I loved and wanted her but I wanted to kill him as well. No man should have ever left a scratch on her when I was around, if I hadn't made her upset by saying she was safer if we'd take a break than she wouldn't have gotten hurt.

She fell alseep in my arms and I laid her down before finding Reed. Everyone else had been asleep and Reed was a dirty man but he was loyal to his friends no matter the cost. When I came out to deck to meet up with him, he sent his men indoors so we could speak privately. "Whats your situation?" he asked and made sure no one was around before leaning his back against the railing of the boats edge.

"My dad shipped me off with his latest experiment, and the rest of my sanction of guards. We've been stuck on shore for weeks, until now that is." I said and he nodded before laughing. "Your father sure is a wicked man sending his son off to die like that... The boys with you SIG?" He asked which was code for signed in guards, in order to be a guard on my fathers team you had to be sworn in with your allegiance.
