Jason's POV continued....

I had no clue as too when she was going to wake up, and I had to no clue to help her or what was wrong with her. We kept a guard outside the door Every night and kept guards eyes on woods during the day. Aña never stood around Amanda for long and often kept Mina away from her. It was morning, and Naomi was breathing and starting to show eye  flutters but never officially woke up. I guarded her as she slept as I always did and made sure no harm came her way. It wasn't that I was bored of watching her, but I hadn't slept the entire night and I wanted to be awake when she woke up.

I began to think over things and had so many questions that I didn't have answers too. How are we going to get off the island? When are we going to get off this island? Are we left here for good? Will they ever come back to get us? How long can we survive? How many of us will survive? I had been deep in thought when Naomi shot up gasping and winced in pain. The cry she made came out more as a huge wince as she held her back and face. I shot over to try and help her but she jumped away from me in panic and looked around confused. How can I help her? We don't have any real medical supplies and if she's seriously injured I won't be able to help release her from her pain.

Naomi's POV:

When did I get back to the base? What if this is just an illusion??? But would I feel this much pain if it was just an illusion? "Naomi?" I shot back to reality when I heard his voice and looked over. All of the pain seemed to disappear for the moment and I smiled at him. If it was an illusion before death, at least it was a hot one. My pain was bad, but I needed to set it aside while I am on this savage island.

He gave a small but cute laugh and put his hand on my back which made me arch my back in pain and try to keep my cries in. He looked worriedly to me and I smirked. "I'm good, I'm good." I breathed out finally before he blew out a silent breath that he didn't realise he was holding. We both laughed at each other before things got serious and our eyes locked. He cupped my chin with his hand and I brought my arms around his neck as our lips met.

He let go of my chin and I jumped when I felt his hands on my hips. "I'm sorry." He said, and I felt bad that I had just killed our special moment. I just kissed his lips once more and apologised before we stood up and our fingers tangled together. "So how did I get back here?" I asked, and he gave a sad smirk. I should have realised sooner that they hadn't planned on bringing you back, and so yesterday I had brought a team with me to rescue you. When we got there, we rescued you and your friends before-"

my friend? "You saved Aña?!" I said excitedly before bursting out of the hut and looking for her, but my sights landed on someone as soon as the name came out. "And Amanda!"

She looked at me sadly and I felt everything in my stomach come rushing up and turned out into the trees to puke. "I've gotcha." Said Jason as he held my hair back. It was almost lunch time, and I was impressed too see a jaguar added to our stack of food. Even more impressed of our meat shed that was fully built and stocked with the foods. Before Jason could try and keep me captive in the hut, all eyes turned on me and I smirked at Amanda's face when everyone cheered and came over to me. The lonely loser with only one friend was now a leader and very loved woman with people who looked up to her. I had then recognised why the one girl looked familiar as she sat down next to Amanda and hugged her with love. What were the odds that Crystal and Amanda would both be on the same life ending trip?  I had recognised that the girls name was Crystal and that I knew her, but it wasn't until she sat down next to Amanda that I realised it was Amanda's older sister. She was never around much when Amanda and I hung out, I only really saw her once in a blue moon back home.

Crystal had stood up and offered her hand to Amanda since she was going to join the group, but I stopped paying attention when I heard the voice I had been waiting for ever since I stepped out of the hut. "Naomi!" She screamed, and I smiled before turning and running up to hug her tightly. I winced when she hugged me, and she whispered an apology in my ear before loosening her hug. I felt as though Mina had grown onto me like a little sister that I knew I wouldn't let anyone hurt.
