Chapter 29: Swimming Along
Holding hands, walking in the peaceful forest.Things in life I wonder if I'm sleeping. Too good to be true. I look at Hunter when we stop at a tree stump. "Why are you going through all of this?"
"I want to see my Greene bean happy." He says, wrapping an arm around me.
"I always hated that nickname." I sigh.
"But I love it."
"Okay." I rest my head on his shoulder. He pets my long hair, and twirls it in his finger. "So what made you want to start a band?"
"I was actually the last person in it. Levi and Devin created it, and Orion joined it. Then they needed a guitar player, and found me. I didn't expect much, but Orion convinced us all to do this competition for bands. Then some big producer saw us, and thought we were good. So that's how it happened."
"Are you going to have another album?"
"Yeah, I just have to finish high school. Then we're head on serious. I'm actually writing a song." He mumbles the last part.
"Let's hear it!"
"Meh, that's not really necessary." He looks away.
I kiss his jawline, lingering. "Please?"
"No."
"Meany." I bite his shoulder.
"Ouch! Did you just fucking bite me?"
"Yup." I smile. "I can do it again." I offer.
"Not there, sweetheart." And the dirty-minded Hunter is back. "And save it for later, unlike me. I never bite people. That's just rude."
I bite my lip, butterflies again. Except it was like they were firing a machine gun at my stomach. Hunter will be the death of me.
"I don't know." I say, standing up. "Let's go." I grab his hand, then walking away, swaying my hips for emphasis.
He follows immediately, and I hear him cough, I look back, and his head jerks up to my eyes. "Eyes up here, Hunt." I giggle.
"There's a...umm....waterfall we can go to if you want." he walks next to me.
"I'd love to." I smile, thinking of what would be running through his mind. We walk for five more minutes before we come up to it.
He puts his backpack down, and he leaves it there. I take off my shoes and socks, and see if Hunter was watching. Of course. I slid off my shirt, then my pants, and I put them by the bag. He does the same, then walks to me. He picks me up with ease.
"Hunter, put me down!" I scream, hitting his back, while staring at his ass.
"Not today cupcake." He says, then I'm in the air, then surrounded by the refreshing water. I surface almost immediately, since the water isn't super deep, but I couldn't touch the bottom. I look around, and Hunter is no where to be seen.
Then I feel two hands on my hips. I scream as I feel someone's presents behind me. I turn around, and Hunter is looking sexier than ever. I glare at him, before going back under, and swimming away.
I know he's following me, because I see his tracks when I surface. Then he rises above the water, he's right in front of me.
His stomach was touching mine. He was holding me up, and I assumed he could touch. I ruffle his hair, then splash water on him.
"Oh no you didn't." He splashes me, releasing his grip on my hips. I go under the water, then hold onto his torso. Little did he know I can hold my breathe for a long time.
He lifts me up, then giving me a stink eye. "Hey!" I hit him.
"Why are you so abusive so suddenly."
"I don't know." I shrug. "But.." I lean closer, I press my lips onto his, and he smiles. I wrap my legs around him, for stability. He cups my face, kissing me softly.
I'm the one that stops us. We press foreheads. He stares at me with purity. There's fire in his eyes, as well as happiness. He looks at my lips when he speaks. "I'm silently going insane. All because of you."
"Hunt-"
I'm stopped when he kisses only my bottom lip. He nibbles at it, and I smile. "I thought you said you don't bite." I lean away.
"Yeah, and you said your a bad girl. We say things that aren't alway true. I promise that's the only thing I've l-"
"Hunter?"
"Yeah."
"Just shut up." I giggle as I lean in, then push off him and swim away.
