THINGS ARE GETTING REALLLLL (yw for the extra update)

Chapter 32: Sushi
"Hey!" I yell at the stupid cab driver.

"Calm down, sweetie." Hunter wraps his arm around me. We are visiting NYC for the weekend. Since Hunter got the Apartment for me.

Which Kevin wasn't to happy about, but since I was going to be a legal adult in 24 days, it's okay.

We spent New Years with the crew, and watched a bunch of movies. Including horror. Today's the 3, so my birthday is January 27th. Do the math.

"Since I'm in New York, doesn't that mean I get to be mean?"

"No. You're a nice person." He says, hauling down a cab. "Why can't we just call my driver."

"Because I'm gonna be a New Yorker. Hey, are you living with me?"bWe get out of the pouring rain.

"Maybe." He shrugs. "I honestly don't know with the band and everything."

We get in the cab, and Hunter tells him my new address. "And I'm thinking of dropping out of school, because I already have this job and all."

"You could do that." He nods, approvingly. "After we rest at the apartment, I'm going to take you to your office place."

"Okay!" I smile.

Let me just start off that the apartment is huge! Remember the Penthouse I stayed at for the musical? Imagine that, but double the size. And it's at the top of the apartment building.

"How much is it a month, Hunter?" I turn to him.

"Jeez, not even a thank you?"

"Hunter." I say in a warning tone.

"200 grand a month."

"Hunter! I can't make that much money!"

"Yes. You can. I have you booked for photoshoots with some big people." His eyes widen. I sigh, looking around my furnished home.

I go to the couch, and sit. "This isn't what I wanted." I look up at him, and he clenches his jaw.

"Wow, you don't even appreciate what I've done for you? You always question everything I do for you, and it's getting annoying! I'm sick and tired of it. Brooklyn, you're whole new life is from me. You should be thanking me. Any normal person would be on their knees thanking me." He bursts out, and lashes at me.

I just stare at him, my eyes getting heated up. "I guess I'm not normal then." I get up, and walk out.

I didn't care where I was going, or if I'd come back. I needed to get away from that asshole.

* * * *

The place I ended up was a sushi place. I wanted to complete my list myself too.

I order something random, and wait.

Hunter didn't even call or text me. Wow. I just look at my crappy phone, and cry.

I didn't care how many looks I'd get. I needed to cry.

"Are you Brooklyn Greene?" Someone taps me. I turn around, and a guy, maybe about my age sits down next to me. "Hi, I'm Nate Pull."

"What do you want?" I ask.

"I just wanted to know your boyfriend is a huge inspiration to me and my band. We are having a performance at this address if you wanna come." He hands me a sheet of paper.

Then he gets up and leaves.

Rude.

I rip the paper up, and throw it on the ground. I look at my phone again, and finally I get a buzz, and I check it immediately.

[Hunter] where the hell are you?

I sigh.

[Me] Fulfilling my list.

[Hunter] I'm coming. Hold on. I love you B. I love you so much.

I don't question how he'd know where I am in this big city, but I wait. I eat my sushi, and wait.

"Brooklyn!" Someone shouts, running through the door. I look back, and it's him.

Sorry it's a short one. I'm updating again because MakenzieMay007 and maddie_78250 are so anxious. And I was bored. But now my fingers hurt. Sooooo..... byeeee yall
