Chapter 14: Annie

Chapter 14: Annie
"Levi!" Some girl runs up to him. It's a meet up at a mall, and I've decided to tag along, Tara is here too.

"Hi Hu-Hunter." A nervous young teenager walks up to us.

"Hi sweetie, what's your name?"

"Brianna." She looks at her feet. "If you don't mind me asking, but who are you?" She asks me.

"Just a friend." I smile.

"You sure your not dating Hunter? Id be happy."

"We're anything you want us to be, hon." Hunter chuckles, hugging me. I roll my eyes, and they do the normal.

A few hours later, we are at Devin's house. "Brooke, we have news." Tara smiles.

"Yeah?" They were all on the couch, surrounding me.

"Well, since your new to the group and all, we wanna welcome you." Orion says, flipping his sandy hair.

"So here you go, Cupcake." Hunter gives me an envelope. My eyes widen as I open it up. They were tickets to see Annie, the Broadway musical. Aka, number 12 on my bucket list(to see a Broadway musical).

"Holy mother of pearl!" I jump up. "Thank you thank you thank you thank you!" I giggle.

"You also have backstage passes." Levi says. I go around hugging everyone. "And Lilly can go too. We're all going, in a suite."

"When is it?"

"Next weekend. We're flying to New York for the weekend, if that's okay with your parents."

"I'm sure they won't mind."

"It's December 15 is the day, a Saturday night. We fly out there Friday night, then leave Sunday morning." Hunter says. We go to the kitchen, and someone makes ramen for all of us.

"I'm so excited." I smile at Hunter. "But I need to pee."

"I'll show you the bathroom." He says, and I follow him....up the stairs?

"Are you sure it's up here?" I ask. Then he turns back at me sharply.

"Nope." He steps closer.

"What happened to friends forever? Hence friends." I step back. It's like having déjà vu.

"I've been known for breaking the rules." He leans down, but of course, someone has to interrupt us.

"Ramen is ready you two love birds." Tara calls.

"Every fucking time!" He says. I giggle, then go on my tippy toes. I grab his neck, and kiss his lips quickly. "Thanks?" He smiles.

"Not anytime." I wink, then walk down stairs.

"And I can come too?!!" Lilly jumps up and down, hugging me. "I love you so much Brooklyn Avalon Greene!"

"So that's your full name." Someone says behind me.

"Hunter, I'm having a moment." I turn around. He chuckles.

"See you around green bean." He shakes his head.

"What's up with you two?"

"I don't know, to be honest." I sigh. "He's always trying to make moves."

"What kind of moves?" Lilly wiggles her eyebrows.

"Not those moves....sorta." I giggle. "Let's go to class."

"Hey Lilly." Kyle Russ (Lilly's partner) says to us as we're walking.

"Hi Kyle." Lilly mutters, walking faster.

"What happened back there?" I bump Lilly.

"Nothing." She says too quickly.

"Lilly." I turn to her, stopping mid-hall.

"We have to go, Brooklyn." she pulls me. "I'll explain later."

I sigh. "Damn right you will."
