Chapter 37: Birthday Bash

"Happy birthday my Greene Bean." My love hugs me. We walk up the stairs, and I sit at the bar, to the plate of pancakes. There are five candles around it. Hunter leans over to light them.

Pretty soon I'm surrounded by the Samuels family, as I blow out my candles.

"The other thirteen candles will come soon." Hunter whispers in my ear. I smile, and eat my pancakes.

At school people are looking at me, and smiling. Some people even wishing me happy birthday.

People know who I am, and talk to me. Sort of. They try, but who wouldn't.

"Happy birthday bitch!" Someone hugs me from behind. I close my eyes, and turn around, hugging Lilly.

"Thanks babe." I smile. She's hands me a bag.

"Open it now!" She demands.

"Bossy bossy." I shake my head, opening the bag. I had to take a double look. In the bag is a set of keys. Not any set of keys, the set of keys to a Porche. "No you didn't." I look up at her, wide eyed.

"It's at Hunters. After school the band and I are hanging out, celebrating your day of birth."

"Thanks babe!" I hug her. Today's going to be a good day.

"Guess who got an A- on their history test?!" I walk up to the lunch table.

"How do you know?" Lilly asks.

"Mrs. Toller told me." Today we are joined by some other people. Their heads are down. "Who are they?" I ask Lilly really quietly.

"Hey guys, look!" Lilly says. Then everyone looks up, and it's the whole squad.

"Oh my god! Guys!" I get up, my eyes rimming with tears. Today's such a good day. I hug every one of them. "Where's Hunter?"

"He couldn't make it, he has some test, he told me." Lilly looks down.

I gulp, and look down. "Oh. Okay." My luck everyone.

I eat my sandwich, pretending to be happy, talking to everyone about my day so far. Then I feel a pair of hands over my eyes. "Guess who?" Hunter fakes a high pitch girly voice.

"Hunter, I know it's you!" I turn around, but I'm met by a cake. In my face.

"Happy birthday, Greene."

"I'm still mad at you." I look at Hunter after school, in his car. "I still haven't taken all of the cake out of my hair."

"You know I love you." He leans over, and kisses my lips. I cup his face, and kiss him back even more.

"Wait till later, my love." He leans back, biting his lip, I was turned on.

"Hmm, what's that suppose to mean?" I close my eyes. He starts the car, but I don't want this. "Can I drive?"

"No...why?"

"I don't want to go to your house just yet."

"Where do you want to go?"

"Somewhere." I say. "Please Hunter?"

"Sure." He sighs, getting out. We switch places, and I start driving north.

"It's an hour away." I bite my lip. "But I sweet it's worth it."

"Alright." He says, pulling out his phone. I turn the radio on, and a new song is on. The bass is pumping, and I just feel good.

"We're here!" I get out of the car. I take a deep breathe of the woodsy air.

"Where's here?"

"My brother and I used to come up here a lot to get away, on weekends."

"Oh." He nods. I smile, and grab his hand. I pull him through the woods, knowing exactly where we're going. "Is this where you're going to murder me?"

"Of course." I giggle, and I jump over a puddle. I walk quickly for about five more minutes, before coming right before the opening. "Are you ready for this?"

"Sure." Hunter looks at me. I pull him through the last bit of leaves, to the ledge. The ledge that looks over the valley. I look at him, and his eyes are sparkling. There's lust and adoration in his icy blue eyes. I smile, and pull him into a kiss.

What a chapter!! Part two tomrooew!! Things are getting better folks, and I'm so excited for you to see!!!!
