A year later LaMelo was in the NBA and was 18 living in Charlotte. He plays for the Charlotte Hornets and is happy. 3 months after the break up with Ashley he was happy again. Him and Mya talked about 3 times and that was the end of their "friendship". They didn't get into an argument they just kinda drifted or ghosted each other.
Mya on the other hand was also 18 and was moving to America with her manager Jasper. She didn't want to go too far so she just chose North Carolina. She left Australia because America had more opportunities and Jasper suggested it. Some of her family were out there but her mom was still in Australia healthy. Jasper and Mya settled in 2 months ago in their new houses.

She loved America so much. She actually was with the basketball team Charlotte Sting. She's loved it so far.
At the moment she was going to BrickTops. When she lived in Australia being alone was the norm so she didn't feel awkward walking in to the restaurant.
She ordered hearing boys walk in loudly. She turned to look seeing some familiar faces.
The three boys sat in the booth in front of her.
She checked her makeup in her phone and switched her seat turning to them tapping Gelo on his shoulder.
"Hey Gelo" she said tilting her head.
"Oh shit wassup lil bit" the two got up and hugged.
Melo was confused on who that was then realized it was the girl from Australia he loved being around.
"Mya?" He whispered.
"The one in a billion"
"Wassup girl"
Mya tried pulling away from the hug but Melo kept her in. They all sat down.
"I don't believe we've talked" Lonzo said.
"Your Lonzo right oldest"
"Mhm and your Mya the basketball star"
"Yea"
"Basketball star?" LaMelo asked.
"Yea im on the Charlotte Stings team"
"You lying"
"Im so serious"
"Im the Charlotte Hornets"
"Congrats" Mya said quietly.
"What's up wit you" Gelo put his arm around her neck.
Right as Gelo said that Mya got a text.
Jasper 'Hey get back to your house we gotta talk'
The lady came back with Mya's order wondering where she had gone.
"I'm right here"
"Oh here you go"
"Thanks luv" Mya said sweetly.
"Your welcome" the waitress blushed.
Mya 'About what'
Jasper 'About where your teams new gym is'
Mya 'Ok I'll be over in an hour' 'My house'
Jasper 'Nah mine you didn't get to see the finished look'
Mya 'Ok'
"Who were you texting" Gelo said.
"My manager I have to go"
"Where you going"Melo asked.
"My manager house" Mya said simply.
"Y'all niggas is nosey" Zo said.
"What I'm saying"
"Right but I'll see you later it was nice meeting you Mya" Zo said.
"It was nice meeting you too bye guys"
"Call me when you get home"
"I'm most likely not" Mya yelled.
"Damn nigga what you do to her" Gelo asked.
"Stfu nigga you didn't text her either" Melo said angrily.
"I did check ups alright don't worry bout me"
Mya finished paying and made her way to her car and left.
