I'm quite relieved she was asleep because the situation is very awkward now.
I don't even know her name.

"Brittney," she said her back facing me.
"Ugh?"  wait was I voicing out my thoughts, I thought I was thinking. Uggh, way to go Eurell.

I sat on my chair and settled for some physics questions. I got stuck in the third question, as I kept racking my brain, the problem was I couldn't remember the law guiding the question.

"In any...." I fell off my seat startled at the voice, she looked at me with a smirk but continued, "closed loop network, total voltage around the loop equals to the sum of all voltage drops within the same loop". By then I had recovered from the shock, and I nodded my head in appreciation.

Wait how did she know the answers, I have never seen her with a book before.
"Because you have not seen me with a book doesn't mean I don't read". Looks like my thoughts were voiced again, damn I need to stop doing this.
"I read in the night when you guys are asleep" why was she smirking?
"You are one messy sleeper, though I do like the shorts you wear"
She winks as I stare at her wide-eyed, how dare she flirt with me?
I'm sure I was as red as a tomato now.
She goes to sit on her bed as I try to regain my composure.

"Uhm, I am sorry for walking out on you I was...."
She shrugged, "you don't have to explain yourself, I told you how I feel, it is your right to accept or decline"
"Ohhh... ok" I clear my throat, "At least we could be friends"
She raises her eyebrow at me but doesn't reply.
Oh well, at least I tried.

"Dude, when do you wanna tell Brittney how you feel?" The quarterback asks his friend.
"He is probably scared" a baseball player replies amidst laughter.
Andrew pushes the baseball player, "of course not what do you take me for, I'm in the most popular band in town, if I ask her out she would say yes immediately"

"Oh jeez I'm late for my organic chemistry class, this is so annoying the organic chemistry building is quite far from the main building".
I tripped and mistakenly hit someone.
"Ohh I'm sorry, I didn't..."
"Shut the fuck up, how dare you, you spilled the coffee all over me dammit" Andrew replies rudely
"I didn't see..." I try to explain
"Hmmn, she looks hot isn't she the transfer student," the jocks say as he is eye raping me as I clench my fist in anger.

"Don't you guys have any other thing to do?" I sigh in relief, thank God she is here.
The guy who I poured coffee on started smiling sheepishly, "hi Brittney"
"I thought you had rehearsals, Andrew".
"Yeah, I was on my way, until this asshole spilled coffee all over me"
She sighs "go clean it up before it dries up"
"Sure, would mind coming to my concert this Friday, We are holding it at the school auditorium"
She sighs again, "I will think about it"
Andrew grins widely, "ok see yah"

"Be careful of who you bump into" she said as we walk towards the organic chemistry building.
"Thank you"
"Pls stop with the ' I am sorry and ' thank you, it's killing me"
I chuckled.
"I don't want to seem ungrateful, but why did you help me?"
She looks at me and shrugged as she walks ahead, "I thought you said we could be friends"
"But you didn't...." Uggh this girl, she always has a way of surprising me.
