Chapter 27

"Hi", she whispered, her voice was weak and I could barely hear her.

This must be a dream right, I closed my eyes tight and opened it once more but she was right in front of me her eyes boring holes into me as an amused smirk danced on her lips.

"Am I in heaven now?" I whispered childishly which caused her to chuckle, I mean I gotta make sure.

"No you are not Brittney Adams, this is where you part ways from your lover, you've done a lot of bad deeds in your life however Eurell over here has been a good servant, therefore she leaves to heaven , say you goodbyes now or never". I hissed at his annoying voice as I feebly threw a pillow at him, of course it was none other than Tony with Jose grinning at his side showing his 32's.

I turned back to Eurell she still had that smirk on her which tend to grow wider by the minute, she ran her tongue against her lips as she stared at me.

"Hi", I whispered nervously as I played with my fingers under the duvet.

"I missed seeing your beautiful face" she whispered causing me to blush deep red

"Ok this is becoming cheesy so this is when we leave" his annoying voice interrupted us once again which we paid no attention to.

"You know this is funny because the positions are meant to reverse" I looked at her confused.

She chuckled, and grabbed by hands from under the duvet, her hands were quite cold, "You know me on the bed and you on the chair"

I blushed deep red in embarrassment, that's if my face could be redder than it already was.

"Yh I guess, could you lay with me on the bed?" I asked her shyly

"I would but, my legs aren't exactly functioning" She gestured to her legs

That was when I noticed that she was on a wheelchair and a few machines were still attached to her, I looked at her worriedly.

"I'm fine, I promise"

Just then the nurse came in, "She still has to rest and we still have to run some test, she is still really weak and was only allowed to see you because she stubbornly insisted" the nurse finished smilingly at us, I looked over at Eurell and she was blushing red as she tried in vain to roll her chair out herself which she couldn't so she settled with looking at anything but me.

The nurse chuckled as she wheeled her out, just before getting out the room I heard her mumble a 'see you'

I smiled as I slowly drifted to sleep, the sedative taking over....

EURELL POV

(Some hours earlier)

I heard a couple of mumbling but I couldn't decipher the words being said, I tried with all my might to raise my hands all but all I succeeded in lifting was my index finger, the mumbling became louder and the words more distinct.

I felt a groan escape my lips as I became more aware of my surroundings, my head was heavy and hurting as fuck, I tried to open my eyes but it seemed quite impossible.

"Hi, I'm your doctor, Brian, can you open your eyes?"

"No..."

"Take a deep breath, don't panic, slowly try to open your eyes" I followed his instructions and slowly cracked my eyes open, the lights were dim.

I looked around confused, I tried to form a sentence but it came out as a groan and a bunch of jumbled words.

One of the nurses held a glass of water with a straw in it for me to sip on, then she adjusted my beddings so I could be comfortable.
