Chapter 33

I sighed as I stared blankly at the book, we were back to school and I have been drawn out of my fantasy. I was trying to read passages and answering questions, keyword trying. I couldn't comprehend shit and Britt wasn't here to help because she had Volleyball practice. I wanted to give up, just shut the book and continue reading His Dark Material series but I couldn't, no offence to the scots but their educational system is shit, it is so confusing and I, coming from America didn't help the situation, they had advanced examination then higher advanced like I don't understand. I don't think my Father thought the idea through but then again he doesn't care as long I wasn't in his hair.

I didn't even know what I was going to do after high school but one thing was sure I was moving out of that house, my account was looking pretty attractive I have saved enough to last me a while. My dad opened an account for me where he sends money to frequently, I have another personal account where I transfer the money into in case if things go south and out of anger he blocks my account.

"I have been standing here for about 10 minutes and that span of time, you have sighed about 4 to 5 times" Jose said as chuckled before plopping down beside me, I was sitting on the floor at the back of a shelf in the isolated part of the library.

"I don't understand shit" I groaned

He laughed and patted my head, before taking one of the books that was spread out on the floor.

He immediately scrunched his face in disgust, "Reading skills?, eww"

"You don't like the topic too?"

He immediately dropped and shake his head, "you read and understand the passage just for you to get to the questions and not understand shit"

"I will just ask Britt to explain to me tonight" I checked the time and it was already 4:20pm, Britt would be out in 10 mins.

"I gotta go get Britt, I promised her I would come when she is done" I packed my books and dapped him up before leaving the library.

I walked into the now empty court I look around confusedly, was I in the wrong court, it wasn't even 4:30pm yet.

I stepped further in and immediately sighed in relief when I saw Britt lying on the polished floor, I smiled at the sight and creped behind her, as I shouted 'HEY YOU' which caused her soul to jump out of her body as her face paled in shock before it was replaced by playful anger.

She ran over to me and tackled me to the ground.

"You scared the hell out of me, you should pay for this" she said as she hit my chest.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" I laughed which caused her to pout

"Don't try that again" she grumbled

"Yes ma'am, why are you the only one here"

"We finished practice early today, so I decided to wait for you" she replied as she snuggled into my chest, I was on the floor with her over me, her right leg was draped over my waist as she clutched on my shirt.

I frowned, "You should have called me"

She didn't answer but just snuggled into me, her eyes still on me well it was darting between my eyes and my lips.

I unconsciously licked my which caused her to groan in frustration.

"I wanna kiss you" she grumbled

"We are in a public place babe"

"So? No one is here" she gave that adorable pout as she batted her eyelashes cutely

No words said as she leaned in and kissed me which I gladly reciprocated, I sucked on her lips before finally detaching my lips from hers which caused her to groan.
