Chapter 1: Bizarro

The room flooded and Liana lifted Chloe above water and dragged her out of the place. Liana sets Chloe down and walks to a door and sees the whole room is underwater and there are people unconscious floating in it. Liana feels someone grab her hand and turns around startled and sees the boy who is possessed by the wraith. The boy says, "Help me... please." Liana notices that the boy is back to normal and sighs. Liana kneels in front of him and softly says, "Hey. It's okay." A while later, Liana screams, "Help! Can anybody hear us?" The boy says, "Is she dead?" Liana lies and says, "No, she's not dead. She's just a little hurt." Liana tries to lift the rocks so someone can hear her better. Liana continues to yell for help. Then an opening bursts open and Liana sees a bright light and sighs in relief when she sees Clark. Clark runs to Liana and hugs her, happy that she's alive. Clark then notices Chloe behind her and says, "Chloe?" Clark pulls out of the hug and goes to kneel next to Chloe and continues to say, "Chloe?" Later, Liana and Clark are at the hospital and Clark looks at Liana and softly says, "Liana. You wanna tell me what happened out there?" Liana says, "It's gonna sound insane." Clark softly grabs Liana's arm and says, "Nothing you can tell me is gonna sound crazy." Liana gulps and nods and says, "The last thing I remember I was pulling an eight-inch knife out of my gut. And there was blood everywhere. I dialed Chloe and I had this-this chill and-and my hands started to tingle. And then I-I must have passed out." Clark says, "Wait... so someone stabbed you?" Liana says, "After you told me to run, I did, and I was stopped by a guard, and he stabbed me right here." Liana lifts up her shirt to show Clark the spot and he's confused how the stab wound disappeared. Liana notices and continues to say, "I know. But there was this warm light all around me. And when I woke up, the wound was healed and Chloe was lying a few feet away, unconscious." Clark says, "Maybe it had to do with her new meteor power." Liana's confused and says, "Meteor power?" Clark realizes that Chloe never told Liana and says, "She's a meteor freak, but she didn't know what her powers were." Liana says, "Now, we know. She can heal people." Clark says, "And maybe her meteor power has a side effect." Liana says, "Like a weakness." Clark nods and then says, "Wait. Do you have a weakness?" Liana nods and softly says, "Meteor rocks. They make me sick." Clark says, "Me too." Liana says, "Really?" Clark nods and says, "But your necklace was meteor rock, why would you wear it if it made you sick?" Liana says, "I froze it, so I can still wear it without it making me feel sick." Clark nods and says, "The meteor rocks are called Kryptonite." Liana nods and says, "Cool name." Clark softly laughs and looks at Liana with love in his eyes and softly says, "I'm just glad you're okay." Liana smiles softly kisses Clark and they pull away and Liana crosses her arms looking at Chloe. Clark softly says, "Hey." Liana looks at Clark and Clark sees the pain in her eyes, because of her sister's death. Clark continues and says, "Move in with me." Liana softly says, "What?" Clark softly smiles and says, "Liana, you're it for me and I wanna see you when I wake up in the morning and when I close my eyes at night." Liana softly smiles and says, "Okay." Clark smiles and says, "Okay. Um, why don't you go back to your apartment and shower? I'll stay here with Chloe and text you if anything happens." Liana nods and softly says, "Okay." Liana kisses Clark's cheek and walks out the hospital.

Later, Liana walks out the bathroom drying her hair when she watches Chloe walk in alive and well. Liana softly says, "Chloe?" Chloe looks up to see Liana and smiles. Liana runs to give Chloe a hug and says, "Oh, my God. You're alive." Chloe hugs Liana tight. Both girls are happy that the others one alive and okay. Clark watches from the doorway with a soft smile. Chloe pulls back from the hug and says, "I'm sorry about Lana." Liana weakly smiles and softly says, "I just can't believe she's gone." Clark walks up to them and says, "There's a lot more people that could get hurt right now." Liana wipes the few tears that fell, and Chloe says, "Yeah. Denial should be our friend right now." Chloe sits in front of her computer with Liana and Clark next to her and she continues say, "Okay, so this Phantom-Clark thing was inhabiting humans, but when he touched you, it just replicated. Why?" Clark says, "The Phantom needed a Kryptonian body in order to replicate to become whole again. Guys, I don't know how to stop him. It's not like I can just fly after him." Chloe says, "This guy can fly? God, Clark. You got to get on that one." Liana says, "Well, where's our Bizarro Clark now?" Clark says, "I don't know. Guys, before I hit him... his face distorted. Almost like he was hurt." Liana says, "Which is why he pushed pause on his one-man mission to kill you. But why would your doppelganger weaken, if you didn't?" Clark says, "It's like everything affects him the opposite. Like when Lionel held the meteor rock to him it almost made him stronger." Chloe says, "So maybe he went to find more meteor rocks so he could recharge and finish the job he started." As Clark goes to say something he realizes Liana doesn't know about Oliver being the Green Arrow and says something different, "Chloe, remember you were tracking all of Lex's shipments for his 33.1 experiments." Chloe catch's Clark's look and nods and says, "Yeah, I remember, and it says here in these records that were several containers transferred to Reeves Dam just a couple weeks ago. Clark, if he gets there before you do there's no way you can go up against him alone. I mean, how are you gonna take this guy down?" Clark says, "I don't know, guys. But there is someone who might." Liana and Chloe look at Clark with a curious gaze. While Clark was handling the Phantom, Liana and Chloe have been moving Liana's stuff into Clark's house. Later, Liana sits on the couch and listens to the radio and the voice says, "The fairy tale marriage of Lana Lang and Lex Luthor ended in tragedy, sources say the billionaire is the prime suspect in the explosion cut short... Police say Lang's vehicle exploded upon ignition from what is believed to be a car bomb behind a local coffee house." Chloe walks into the house and sees Liana listening to the radio about Lana. The voice continues to say, "According to wire services, a funeral date has yet to be set. Although no witnesses have come forward Lex Luthor was apprehended near Reeves Dam which was the source of the recent flooding." Chloe turns off the radio and says, "I know you wanted to be alone, but... I thought I'd come by and see if I can get more than two words out of you." Liana softly says, "What do you want me to say? My sister's dead and it's Lex's fault. When I went to confront him at the Dam, I was so close to killing him right then and there." Chloe sits next to Liana and says, "So, why didn't you?" Liana says, "If I killed Lex, it wouldn't have brought Lana back." Chloe nods and says, "I know." Liana sighs and Chloe continues to say, "Where's Clark?" Liana says, "I told him that I wanted to be alone for a bit." Chloe softly smiles and says, "I'm so happy for you guys. You moving into his place was a big step." Liana nods and says, "I know, but I couldn't see myself being with any other guy." Chloe smiles. Later, it's dark out and Liana's in the loft looking out at the night sky. What Liana doesn't know is that Lana's alive and she's in Shanghai, China.
