After thinking for a second she gave a cheeky smile to manik and they both walked downstairs, manik took ice cream from the fridge and made Nandini sit on the slab and handed her a bowl and a spoon

She said and giggled making him smile to the fullest so he picked her up and went in their room. He then sat down in the balcony along with nandini. There were clouds, a bit of wind blowing nandini's hair making her smile. She closed her eyes feeling the air touching her face. Manik was sitting hugging her was it and was carefully observing her face. Not even for a second did she flinch because of his touch. Her face seemed calm but he knew she was still disturbed.

Manik lifted her up and she freaked out for a second but realized it was manik and calmed down

She said and closed her eyes but she had frowns on her face so manik started humming one of his songs. Soon after he felt her breath even and pecked her forehead. He slipped his hand from her and got out of bed to go shower because he needed to cool himself.

He went to the bathroom and took a cold shower. He was thinking in the shower while tears were constantly falling from his eyes.
