——————————————————————————3rd Person's POV: Haru was currently standing in the kitchen of Asami's house with Hana. The reason they're there; to teach Asami how to properly cook. The reason they're teaching Asami is because of an announcement that Mr. Okamoto made to the class.~Flashback~
It was a typical day for the students of class 1-A. Mr. Okamoto walked and told the class to settle down before talking. "Alright everyone I have something to tell you. In a few days you will began your cooking class with Miss Suzuki. Just wanted to let you all know that." After the announcement, class continued normally with the students beginning excited to cook but Asami was feeling the exact opposite. During a small break, Asami walked up to Haru and Hana to ask them for help. "You don't know how to cook?" asked Haru as he, Hana and Asami stood outside in the hallway to talk. "It's embarrassing but yes, I've never been taught to cook since I've always had chefs who cook my meals." said a somewhat embarrassed Asami as she twiddled with her fingers "So I was wondering if you could teach me how to cook." "Hmm. I'm not I would be to much help since I don't really cook that often. But Haru is a pretty good cook, so he maybe he can help. What do you say Haru?" asked Hana, looking at Haru for his answer. Haru thought for a little bit before agreeing to teach Asami how to cook; saying Hana can come along and learn somethings as well. "Thank you Haru. I really appreciate what you're doing for me." "It's nothing, really."
~End of Flashback~
Asami puts on her apron and hair wrap before looking at Haru and Hana. Hana was wearing an apron that had stuffed animals on it while Haru simply wore a pink frilly apron. "Don't ask why I have this, it's the only apron I had at home." said Haru as he blushed in embarrassment. "Anyways, let's start cooking. What are we making today?" asked Hana as she looked at Haru with excitement "We're making curry since it's not a complicated dish to make, so there's little chance of messing it up." Oh how wrong he was. When they began cooking, Asami was messing up many time; from cutting the ingredients wrong, adding the wrong spices to the curry and was only able to make the rice correctly. When the trio looked at the final results of theirs dishes, they sweat dropped from Asami's. Haru's looked yummy, the same with Hana but with Asami... It was giving off a very unnatural aura.
"I failed to do something so simple." said Asami as she put her head in her hands in defeat. "It's okay Asami, you just need a bit more practice and you'll be able to cook." said Hana as she tried to comfort her friend "She's right; No one is perfect on the first try, you just need more practice. So chin up, ok." said Haru as he put his hand on Asami's shoulder and smiled at her, causing her to blush lightly before turning her head the other way. "You're both right, I'm still a beginner so I was bound to make a mistake. As long I keep practicing, I'll be able to properly cook. Let's do this!" cheered Asami, with Haru and Hana cheering with her. The trio continued to practice cooking, slowly but surely improving Asami's food. "You've been doing good Asami. The curry this time looks very delicious." said Hana as she looked at the curry before her "It all thanks to both you and Haru's help that I was able to become this good." said Asami "You did pretty good but if you ever want more lessons, I'm willing to lend a hand." said Haru "Thanks Haru but there's something that I've been a little curious about. Why do you cook, I mean there's nothing wrong with that but I thought most boys wouldn't be interested in that stuff." "Oh, that's because since both my parents work all lot, I use to help my older sister cook and as soon she went of to college, I was in charge of cooking in my house. My little sister Midori has tried to help but it often ends in disaster."
"I see." "Well, let's enjoy this curry that we made." The trio took a bite of the curry and we're happy that it tasted as good as it looked. "Nothing is better than eating curry with some friends, right?" said Haru "You can say that again." said Hana "Thanks again for your help guys. I feel more confident about cooking at school." said Asami "It was nothing Asami and if you want, we can come by your house as much as we can to help you cook." said Haru. When the trio had finished eating , Haru and Hana were going to clean but Asami said her maids can clean and they can leave; so upon saying goodbye and promising to come by again, Haru and Hana where driven home by Asami's butler in her limo. "That was a pretty fun experience." said Hana "It really was. Even though I confident that Asami will do well in cooking class, I hope we're all put in the same group." said Haru "Me too if I want to be honest." The ride home continued without further incident.
~Time Skip brought to by Haru, Hana and Asami looking at a cook book~
A few days had passed since Haru and Hana agreed to help Asami cook and they noticed that she was improving with every lesson they had with her until finally, it was the day of cooking class. Haru and Hana were excited but Asami was a little nervous, as there was a chance she would have to cook without Haru and Hana. "Don't worry Asami you'll do fine, I know it." said Haru who noticed Asami's worried look "Thanks Haru." said Asami. In the end, Asami was paired with both Haru and Hana, making the trio happy. "Alright everyone, today we'll be making curry rice." said Miss Suzuki, making Asami relaxed more as curry was easy to make for her. As the group prepared to make the curry, Asami noticed that several students were making mistakes; like peeling the potatoes poorly, cutting the vegetables too hard and there was even a case of a small fire breaking out. Seeing the sight before her, Asami realized that her some of her classmates were just like before her lessons, people who didn't know how to cook. In the end, the only curry that was good enough to eat was Haru, Hana and Asami's.
